Wanted to increase the cost just before emergency treatment. Refused to provide treatment when I asked for a crown to be co-payed by my insurer. These may have just been poor communication.

Terrible service, I called to make appointment and wanted to make sure they know I have insurance, they want me to call tomorrow so they can find out if I have Insurance and when I called the next day they put me on hold for over 15 minutes then they tell on top of the Insurance coverage I still have to pay $40 to $80 for tooth and mouth exam depending on the exam. I asked to give me an example of what kind of exam, they said visual exam on the cheek and tongue for cancer. What? These are fake changes and should be free. I'd changed dentist now. Won't you?

First time using the dental insurance and just pick one that's around the area. The office will charge you a "special image" fee of $55 and saying it will be required for every 6 month. The "pictures" turns out to be a way they charge you with something regardless of your insurance and has no help whatsoever when talking to the dentist. This place does not help with what insurance you have. Won't be back again.

One of the worst and unprofessional dentist. I came here for my sons check up and I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Expect delays unorganized staff and headaches.

I had an appointment yesterday at New Vision Dental. I was seen by Dr. Rebecca Choi. She was great. She had good chairside manner. She explained thoroughly so that I could understand what I needed. I was confident in her knowledge that I decided to do what was recommend. I had no problem during and after my dental treatment. Overall I am very happy with the service I received yesterday. I will coming back in 2 weeks to continue my dental treatment. Thanks Dr.Choi and staff.

Thank you Dr. Aaron Tran for the great dental work on my teeth! I really appreciate the friendliness of the front desk staff. They are always friendly and nice to patients. I would recommend New Vision Dental and Dr. Tran to anyone who are seeking dental work.

The Worst and greedy people. The moment you enter in the office itself the two rude ladies in the front office will start bargaining about paying out of pocket for their 3D X rays. The two unprofessional ladies in the front office will decide all the treatments and payments even before seeing the doctor. Ruthless and arrogant ladies.Don't go there if you think that you deserve some dignity. May be the doctors are good. Yet another money making business and no commitment to the patients. All the reviews with five stars here could be paid or influenced by the management. Don't get cheated. And none of these people will not take any pain in emailing your insurance provider for further treatment from a specialist or other provider. They will withhold your documents too.

We have reported this place to our insurance and with the Dental Board. I am so upset with my experience and have never been treated so unprofessionally or as part of a scam. If you are having serious dental discomfort and need actual help, don't go looking for it here. I read reviews saying it was a wonderful place but should have listened to the few insisting otherwise. I went in for a deep cleaning-----when my husband was charged $55 for a whole visit, I was targeted for almost $2,800 and when we questioned the procedures, Angelica became extremely aggressive. Unfortunately, I still wanted Dr. Al's help because I liked him! I called back three times to make it work but was told 1) he doesn't speak to patients 2) he wouldn't do a basic cleaning covered by my insurance unless I got the costly injected antibiotics (when there's a topical option covered by my insurance) and 3) Maria began yelling at me. Shame on y'all taken advantage of POC, lower-income and those in need of help.

I went to New Vision Dental after having a less than ideal experience at a different dentist office and they are far better than the other folks. Super helpful and caring. Their knowledge about teeth is outstanding and I felt like I was in great hands. Highly recommend. Really lovely staff

I truly enjoy coming to this office. I started as a new patient a few months ago. I was treated as an emergency patient because I was having severe pain on my back molar and the office got me in immediately. Dr. Au and marlenee were awesome! The front office staff are amazing too! I have referred my friends and family. My son was also treated here too and he had a pleasant experience. Thank you New Vision Dental for all your wonderful customer service and excellent care! Happy Holidays!

Deceitful sale tactics and dishonest practices-- I was misled to say the least, I sure hope this does not reflect Dr. Au's character or the rest of the staff in Glendora and South Pasadena. Here is a list of reasons why I know this dental office misled me as a client. 1. There is no minimum purchase amount of $1,000 in Care Credit. That's their policy not Care Credit, I was told at their office otherwise. (NVD still owes me by the way. The treatment was $882 out $1000 I was charged in my Care Credit account) 2. Carina (Office Manager) initially quoted me $600 for a single tooth extraction which I did not accept, it was obviously too high of a price. I mentioned to her I could get that elsewhere. She returned only to claim that the "manager" said that they'll offer me extraction for a discounted price of $400--I received the same single tooth extraction from another dental clinic for ONLY $200. See the theme here? 3. I was advised by NVD dentist that the removal of all 4 of my wisdom teeth was necessary. This was not the case because neither of my previous dentists nor the ortho that's currently working on my braces recommended or deemed that necessary. It was not impacted. Again, how can you trust this clinic? 4. The 5 dental fillings that were applied and the supposed "resin" material they sold me on, I doubt I even needed. 5. NVD quoted my ortho braces at $5,200, out of pocket even with my insurance with a $400 down payment and I was charged $52 office visit/consultation, which should have been free. I was also quoted an additional cost of $120 for dental imaging at Whittier Dental Imaging which I learned was an outdated practice (as well as the plaster molds). In comparison to the same braces with superior treatment I was given at Hyman Orthodontics which quoted me $2,750 out of pocket with insurance write off and without dental imaging and traditional plaster molds (see attached). With that being said, I'm still waiting on my $118 or so balance that was owed to me from the $1000 Care Credit charge as well as the $400 deposit charge for my ortho treatment that I did not follow through, due to the reasons stated above. I have yet to get my $518 or so either credited back to the Care Credit account or refunded back to me. At this point I'm considering taking them to small claims. BE AWARE OF THIS DENTAL CLINIC

I always have a great experience! The front desk is so accommodating and friendly. The office is very clean and they take COVID precautions very seriously. Dr. Tran and Marlene made me feel very comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. The office manager, Karina, did a great job working with me to explain my dental benefits. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to come to New Vision Dental.

DECEITFUL! Check with your insurance company B 4 you authorize work at this dental office. I was told that my out-of-pocket was going to be $1, 275 MORE than what my insurance company told me it should be. My insurance company called their office and received the exact codes of my procedure. There was no misunderstanding on my side when the dental office told me what I would have to pay! Dishonest operations!
