Dr. Daniel Saffo, founder and CEO of New View Dental, built his practice from the ground up with a passion to change the way patients view dentistry. Dr. Saffo wanted an office where patients were treated like family in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Dr. Saffo is also passionate about state-of-the-art technology and keeping up with the advancements in dentistry. This led him to implement a digital cone beam- a 3D xray unit used for advanced procedures such as implants and root canals, The Wand- a computer assisted delivery system for pain-free local anesthetic, a diode-laser for gum surgery/soft tissue recontouring, and much more!
Dr. Saffo grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma. He then moved to Bradenton, Florida where he attended an intense clinically focused dental school, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Dr. Saffo stood out among faculty and peers at his school as being one of the most ambitious students, taking his board exams 1 year before students were scheduled to take them and successfully taking on advanced surgical procedures most dental students would not attempt. After graduating, he joined a large private practice in Ohio where he worked for several years before leaving to open his own office.
While Dr. Saffo spends most of his free time learning how to better serve his patients, either by travelling around the country taking advanced continuing education dental courses or working on his practice, he has many hobbies outside of dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Saffo enjoys just about anything outdoors, including hiking at Oak Openings, fishing, or attending a Toledo Walleye game. He also finds it hard to pass up watching a good boxing match or catching a highly acclaimed film.
Dr. Saffo met his wife, Dr. Christina Saffo, in dental school and the two are excited to be working together. He and his wife reside in Perrysburg and cant wait to raise a family here, with their first baby due in June 2020!
Dr. Christina Saffo grew up in Michigan and attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she earned her bachelors degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude two years early. She then moved to the Washington D.C area where she worked in medical sales for several years. During her years working in medical sales, Dr. Saffo envied the relationships her clients in healthcare had with their patients and their ability to give direct care to their patients. This led Dr. Saffo to leave her job in medical sales and attend dental school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, FL. After graduating, Dr. Saffo was eager to move back home to the Midwest and be close to her family.
After practicing dentistry over the last several years, Dr. Christina Saffo is excited to be working with her husband, Dr. Daniel Saffo, who she met in dental school. Dr. Christina and Dr. Daniel are expecting their first baby in June 2020 and cant wait to start their family roots in Perrysburg!
Dr. Saffo loves cooking and you can find her working on a new recipe on just about any given weekend or evening when she has some extra time. She also loves traveling, hiking, boating, swimming in the Great Lakes and most outdoor activities.

New View Dental truly puts the patient first. I was in pain like never before (first time patient) and the New View Dental team was able to get me in within half days notice and correct the issue same day. Dr. Dan and his incredible team helped me out tremendously with no pain from the treatment. A huge thank you to New View Dental.

I have a strong fear of Dentists, since early childhood I am getting my Dentures and was scared to go, Dr. Daniel was amazing at making me feel comfortable and like he really cares about my well-being,he is truly a compassionate and understanding Doc. The staff were amazing his assistant made me feel calm and even had me laughing, but I really want to say Thank To Julie at the front reception she is a godsend to me, she had me so confident I could come in there and enjoy my visit. Again thank you to everyone would recommend your practice in a heartbeat.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Saffo and the staff at New View Dental. While visiting from out of state I had a dental emergency. I was able to get a next day appointment. I was treated with kindness and compassion from everyone in the office. I highly recommend New View Dental to anyone looking for an exceptional dental experience!

Everyone here is so sweet and understanding. I need a lot of dental work done and was scared to go to the dentist for a long time! Thankfully all of the staff is willing to be gentle with me and work out payment plans for me and work with my insurance to offer me a good course of action. I had a hypoglycemic attack during my visit and was offered care and patience and was able to feel better after just a few minutes!

I had to get my top 2 wisdom teeth pulled, at 35, and I was pretty nervous. The staff was so kind, made me very comfortable, the Dentist made sure I was very numb so I didn't feel anything and his "bedside manors" were wonderful! They made my experience so easy and painless!

I have had my routine cleanings with New View and I recently had my wisdom tooth extraction done with them. I never leave with any pain or discomfort, the staff is so welcoming - I have never felt more comfortable at the dentist. I highly recommend! They listen to you and your concerns, use newer technologies to make your appointment pain-free and the entire staff is incredibly friendly.

Dr Saffo & his staff are amazing. I had a dentist that I have been with for the last 6 years. I had a tooth that needed a root canal. That dentist did not have an appointment open for 3 weeks. I was in so much pain everyday for a week. Called them multiple times to try to get the appointment pushed up to a earlier date. Nothing was open, I was on a cancellation list, never received a call. That office's solution to the problem was to give me a referral to a dentist In Ann Arbor MI. I called that office and it was going to be 2 weeks until they could get me in for the root canal. So I was going to be in pain & suffering for at least 2 more weeks. Dr Saffo's staff was able to get me in the very next day for a consultation visit & he was able to actually able to do my root canal that day as well. He & his staff were such a blessing. I left the office pain free for the first time in weeks. Me I my family will now be changing dentist to see Dr Safffo permanently. The compassion & professionalism he & his office gave me, ( a patient they had never seen before ) will always be appreciated, and I will let all of my friends & family know how amazing this office treated me. I am not very good about visiting the dentist but I called about a chipped tooth. I was very lucky to get consalted that day and a few hours later two teeth extracted. They were able to let me know what it would cost and what my insurance would cover. They had nitrous but sadly not for my car lol

I've been to many different dentist offices over the years and this one by far tops ALL of the ones I've been to over the years! It surpassed the others in every way! Everyone in the office were so very welcoming and treated me so very friendly! And doctor Dan explained everything to me before doing anything and didn't dictate anything to me but actually discussed the options. Doctor Dan was so very professional, kind, understanding and was so very efficient and had everything finished before I even realized it was all done! Everyone there made my first time experience there as painless and nice as could ever be possible! I can't thank all of them enough! I would definitely give this office the highest recommendation!

Where do I begin? I was traveling out of town for work when I was struck with a dental emergency. On a whim, I called New View at 8PM!!!! And the on call doctor (Dr. Dan) was happy to take my call and.....drumroll.... Came to the office while they were closed to extract my extremely painful and broken tooth. I have extreme dental anxiety and he not only calmed my nerves, but made my tooth extraction completely pain free and even had me laughing a few times. His dental assistant was also one of the most compassionate, nurturing, and reassuring hygienists I have met to date. I was able to return to work immediately following my extraction and owe everything to New View Dental and Dr. Dan. Thank you so much for making my experience gentle and ultimately taking care of the root cause. Next time I need ANY dental work, I will be traveling here for it. Thanks again!
