Dr. Douglas Wolfe is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. He earned both his bachelor’s degree (1998) and DDS (2002) from The Ohio State University. Following his graduation, he completed a two-year General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio
In addition to working at his Waxhaw practice, Dr. Wolfe enjoys bringing his skills and compassionate care to various mission organizations, both locally and in Guatemala, where people do not have access to dental and medical care as we do here in the United States. Melanie was born and raised in Monroe, NC. Melanie is our Office Manager and oversees all the daily processes involved with our practice. Anna was born and raised in the Charlotte area and resides in Waxhaw, NC. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Central Piedmont Community College. Tammy was born and raised in North Carolina. She has worked in the dental field for ten years. Tammy is part of our front office team and specializes in Insurance. Tammy and her husband Dale have a blended family of four children. She loves going hiking, to the beach and the mountains.
Leigh was born and raised in Weddington NC. Leigh is a certified dental assistant since 2018. She enjoys working with patients. In Leighs free time she loves drawing, painting, crafts and playing with her dogs.
Deanna was born in Long Island New York. She relocated to NC in 2007. She is a certified dental assistant and earned her certificate at Central Piedmont Community College. She enjoys getting to know each of our patients and ensuring our patients feel at ease during their visits with us.

Wonderful dental office! The reception staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and quick to provide assistance. Dr. Wolfe and his hygienists are kind, professional, and make sure you understand exactly what is going on. I requested an appointment early in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in on the same day and even get me a quick referral to an oral surgeon for my surgery needs. I highly recommend New Town Dentistry.

Dr Wolf is fantastic and oh so humble and very well versed in his field. It's always a pleasure visiting his office and getting my dental needs well taken care of by all of his staff. Douglas Wolfe is one of best dentists I have ever been too. He takes the time to talk to you, explain, and even draws you pictures to make sure you understand what needs to be done, and how it is done. His staff are friendly and knows your name. In a world that has forgotten what customer service is, Douglas Wolfe and his staff have never lost it. We would never go to any other dentist.
