We have been going for the past three years now. Professional. Friendly. The appointment reminders are very much appreciated. My child is very comfortable here. They are also transparent with insurance costs.

Such great staff! Our son has been going here for his last three appointments and he absolutely loves it. The staff have always made all of us feel comfortable, even through COVID. They have sunglasses for the kids with the bright exam light, a tv on the ceiling for them to watch and help distract (totally secure!), and fun little incentives for after the exam. Stickers and a coin for the toy tower! They always make sure they explain everything to the patient and that they're comfortable with the tools being used to help inspect and clean their little teeth. This place is a no-brainer for children's oral health.

We love New Smiles Kids Dentistry! The front desk staff are so awesome and sweet ( even with a rowdy 2 year old ). We also love Dr. Baliga! She is so patient and sweet with the kids. Having the TV definitely helped with keeping the kids calm. Very clean and COVID safe as well! I loved that we were the only patients in the office, very comforting! Our son also loved buying his prize bouncy ball with the coin given at the end! We highly recommend and will keep sending our friends/family!

I'll start by saying I'm not one that ussaly leaves reviews . However I absolutely love Dr Baliga, I have had bad experiences with my son in the past at the dentist we seen a few before We went to new smiles dentist . Dr Baliga she really helped my son overcome that bad experience by making his dental vist great. She takes her time and is very patient with the kids to make them feel comfortable in every way. Great loving atmosphere for a dental office. Makes you feel comfortable from the start . I would def recommend you taking your children to see her u will never need to look else where for a dentist ! She is a non judgmental dentist

I had a fantastic experience at New Smiles Kids Dentistry. My daughter had a tongue and lip tie and was unable to latch but after her procedure she has been able to latch and nurse like a champ! I had issues with my insurance company and Dr. Baliga and Kelly went above and beyond to help me and my daughter until I could get it straightened out, and every single staff member I encountered during my visits was kind and friendly. I honestly can't say anything but good things about my experience. When my daughter's teeth start coming in I will absolutely be back!

My 5 year old daughter went to the dentist in September and was told her teeth were great. We went again in December for her second visit in the 2019 calendar year, and were told she had cavities, a dying central incisor and needed a crown. We got a second opinion and a third opinion. NSK made us feel very comfortable and Dr. Baliga went out of her way to make us feel good about the treatment plan- no crown but using a seal over the pulp. At the appt, Dr. Baliga took her time to explain the tools to my daughter and it ended up being an extremely smooth process. My child doesn't even realize there is a filling and when the Novocain wore off, she acted like nothing happened. Most importantly, she felt safe and is happy to go back for her next appointment. We know we found our kids dentist for years to come. We'd highly recommend Dr. Baliga for kids!

Dr Baliga is very very kind and knowledgeable. However, the she and assistant didn't take time to settle, make laughing gas work better, and numbing cream as well. She told that it is uncomfortable when my son needed more reassurance. We were able to overcome this unpleasant experience at DC pediatric smiles. Dr Derek and his assistant Annette are confident, joyful and professional . Worth the drive . P.S. I'm adding after Doctor's response. The tooth she treated with crown still has a very large infection and needs extraction anyway (after less than a month of treatment at your office) , therefore, my kid went through unnecessary and negative experience..

Everyone I met was very nice. It's a very clean place & has things for my children to do while we wait our turn. Overall very happy with our experience and will be going back.

Everyone was very kind. The Dr and staff are exceptional and patient with children who are afraid of the dentist. Prior to the exam, the child is given a choice of what he/she would like to watch on a screen during the exam. During the exam, the Dr takes her time to talk the child through it and explains what is going to happen. Also, if the child gets upset, cries, or gets off the chair, the Dr is very patient and understanding. If going to the dentist has been challenging for your child, this is a safe place to try. They also take many insurances.
