A bone grafting procedure may be what a patient needs before an implant. In some cases, the tooth that will be hosting the implant could be deteriorating and may not be sufficient for the long term placement of the implant. Bone grafting is an advanced way to promote a healthy tooth so that the implant will last for a long time when placed on top of the tooth.v
On the next visit, the specialist will then attached an abutment to the titanium structure to hold the implant. When the impressions and models of your teeth are made, the new implant will be made from those models and then placed onto the abutment.
Mini Implants are a good alternative from traditional dental implants if an implant is needed in a tight, narrow area. A titanium post surgically inserted into the jawbone and connects to a denture to minimize its movement during function (chewing). Mini implants are good for small teeth, front teeth, and pre-molars. Our mini implants are used to replace missing teeth and help maintain oral health.
The term All-on-4, also known as All-on-Four and All-in-Four, refers to all teeth being supported on four dental implants, a prosthodontics procedure for total rehabilitation of the edentulous patient, or for patients with badly broken down teeth, decayed teeth, or compromised teeth due to gum disease.

Dr B is the best dr ever, he takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them . He is super talented and knowledgeable, very honest and doesn't try to pressure patients in to unnecessarily costly procedures. I finally achieved my perfect smile with he's magic hands . Having many dental issues with implants and crowns which were done 30 plus years ago. The dentist I used back then retired once I paid my bill, only kidding but I did invest in the high $20,000 . I just assumed back then, my dental issues were a thing in the past . Now, after all these years I'm having issues with my crowns breaking off at the gum line. This requiring a surgeon removes the root, then I wait until a post or implant can be installed. My wife has been a patient of New Smiles and loves this office in Woodbridge. She was after me for years to also come here. I finally did after breaking another crown. Once again, she was right, I had a great visit, I met Dr Sebastian who gave me a complete exam, asked what I wanted and not just telling me what he wanted to do? He explained everything in detail to accomplish my goals and the cost of the complete plan. He made sure I fully understood and assured me he was available to go over anything I might have questions about. Since that first exam he has performed many different procedures for me to include extracting the root of broken crowns, has installed several implant bases and new post and crowns and without a doubt, he is The Best Dentist in the area. I haven't forgotten his office staff. This group of Professional men and women all greet you with a smile and a kind word and you know by first impression this is a patient friendly dental office. From the office manager to their financial person, everyone is above average and that is an indicator of what you can expect from the doctor. Best hygienist in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area: Sofia Hurtado. Today I had the greatest experience I ever have had visiting a dentist. Sofia was so professional, gentle, patient caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. I do recommend to everyone to come and meet this excellent hygienist. My wife and I have gone to Smiles Dental for several years. They are amazing! They are, of course, professional and courteous. However, I most appreciated their integrity. They never recommend unnecessary work to make money like several of our past dentists. I highly recommend Smiles!

My experience has been completely satisfactory and extraordinary. From the attention to the front with the secretaries, the attention of the technicians who take the plates, the assistants who work on oral cleaning and the excellent work and dedication and humanism of the doctor for me characterize this place. My family and I are blessed having New Smiles Dental as our home dentist office. They take excellent care of their patients and have a wonderful staff ; the receptionist are courteous, helpful with scheduling and efficient. The hygienists are careful, thorough and friendly.
