I have always been an advocate of continuing education in order to stay current with the latest techniques and treatment options, and offer my patients the very best when it comes to their care. I have taken courses on Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, temporary anchorage devices, and self-ligating brackets. All these techniques make my patients treatment more efficient and comfortable and their results more predictable.

I live in Tracywith my wifeMeiling, our childrenNathan and Mariah, a guinea pig named Blacky, and a bearded dragon named Nate. When I have free time, I enjoy many outdoor activities such asbicycling, swimming, traveling, camping, horseback riding, and skiing, just to name a few.

Dr. Hu maintains a close working relationship with all the dentists and dental specialists in Tracy. This enables him to provide you with the most comprehensive care possible.
Dr. Hu understands that patients are hesitant to undergo jaw surgery to correct severe discrepancies. Hehas treated many cases with excellent results that may have required jaw surgery with orthodontics only. This may involve using the Herbst appliance in cases where the front teeth are severely protruding. In cases of severe underbite, face-mask therapy is used to help advance the maxilla.

Dr. Hu is THE BEST orthodontics you could ever ask for, hands down no questions asked. I've been a patient of his since I was a little girl in middle school and now I'm a college grad and his service and staff have only improved over the years. I just finished getting my braces off today and it's so bitter sweet to think my time with New Smile Orthodontics is over. Half way through my treatment I moved to Los Angeles and was driving back and forth between Tracy and LA to come to my appointments and Dr. Hu and his team were always very accommodating and extremely helpful. I didn't mind at all driving the miles and using up gas as long as he continued to be my Ortho Dr. I would do it again, my new smile and experience here made it all so worth it!
