Dr. Matthew Reith Born and raised in Fort Smith, Dr. Reith always knew he wanted to attend the University of Arkansas. After his freshman year of college he knew that he wanted to call Northwest Arkansas home. During his college years he spent many hours outside the classroom engaging in every aspect of dentistry possible. He volunteered at the Free Health Center in Fayetteville every Thursday for 3.5 years and worked with many great surgeons and dentists. He was a member of the Universitys Pre-Dental Society. He also worked for an Orthodontist for almost a year before going to dental school. Upon completing his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology, he attended the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center College Of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee. For 4 years, he not only completed all his didactic education, but he also spent many hours researching the many different treatment capabilities that the modern dentist has at his or her disposal. While in Dental School, he married his beautiful wife, Emily. Together they have two dogs, Remi (the black lab) and Ivory (the white Chihuahua) who keep them constantly busy. They enjoy spending their time cheering on the Razorbacks, being outside, and spending time with their families and friends. Dr. Reith is also an avid duck hunter!
Dr. Robert Beyer III A native of New Orleans, Dr Beyer is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where he received a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences. He then moved on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Louisiana State School of Dentistry. Afterwards, he completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. During this residency he spent time perfecting many aspects of dentistry, including oral surgery, prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), and sedation. Upon graduation he worked 6 days a week in three different offices to better tone his clinical skills. During this time he met his wife, Shannon. Dr. Beyer has spent a large amount of his free time taking advanced education classes to better serve his patients. In doing so, he achieved a certificate of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This means he took over 500 hours of continuing education! Combine that with his over 30 years of experience, and theres not a lot Dr. Beyer hasnt experienced as a dentist. Away from the office Dr. Beyer and Shannon have 3 boys Brandon, Nicholas, and Joshua. Dr. Beyer enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family, and being an active member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. Shannon Dental Hygienist Shannon is a Registered Dental Hygienist and is a 1989 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Shannon was born in New Orleans and moved to NWA in 2005 following Hurricane Katrina with her husband, Dr. Robert Beyer III, and their three wonderful boys. As a dental professional, she enjoys and is active in continuing education classes, as well as local Dental Hygiene study clubs. After 25 years of practicing dental hygiene, as well as working in and coordinating all office positions, she still prefers educating patients about their oral health. She also strives to ensure their dental experience is always pleasant and comfortable. She provides a personable relationship with all her patients and really enjoys the challenge of treating special needs individuals. Shannon loves spending time with her family, and is extremely supportive in her childrens education, sports, and other activities. She is also a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Tontitown.

Dr. Matt and his team are top notch. After a bad experience as a young adult I don't easily trust Dentist. Dr. Matt and his team make you feel at ease and comfortable. I would recommend this team to anyone.

Matthew Reith did absolutely amazing didn't feel a thing. Had 4 fillings and an extraction. Haven't even used the pain meds he gave. I'm in zero pain. Outstanding.

They did a great job overall. I hadn't been to a dentist in a couple years due to COVID/anxiety about bad experiences in the past. I didn't have any of those issues with them. New Smile got me in two days after I called and did an excellent job. They were all nice people with no judgement, who seem to genuinely just care about doing the best for me. If you've been holding off for a while or just have general anxiety about finding a good dentist I'd 100% recommend giving them a try.

Worse place ever simply because of one person rose(i would put her last name but doesnt show on massage), poor customer service skills. Never in my life was I expecting to get attitude for simply not making my own appointment. I got a message telling me I was gonna get charged 100 dollars for not calling in time and canceling. So I decided to call and see if it were true, I had no intention of arguing but literally got told why I wasn't gonna make it(as if mom took over the phone). I'll pay those 100 dollars no problem but I will not ever go there again.

I found this wonderful clinic while I was on a trip to visit some relatives in Arkansas. All I can say is thank you! From the moment they answered my call until I left the office they took care of all my concerns. I had the pleasure of meeting Rose, she was sweet and compassionate and she took care of me as if she knew me personally prior to this visit, she definitely made me feel close to home. Being far from home really made me nervous visiting a different office than my usual one of ten years. I definitely recommend them for all dental needs.

I've given them one star because my experience with them was one I've never imagined and one I will never forget. I'm terrified of Dentists and that's why I haven't been in over ten years. My sister had an amazing experience so I decided to go where she had work done. First red flag is that Dr. Matthew did not tell me step by step what he was doing so I could prepare myself. He grabs the needle and begins to go for my mouth and I instantly tense up, he then proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't be so dramatic. So I'm getting a few of my wisdoms extracted and in doing so he hit the back of my throat from trying to pull so hard. When I was finally able to talk I told his assistant that he hit the back of my throat and she tells me that he did not as if the numbing sensation caused me to become illiterate. My appointment was Monday, it is now Wednesday and I'm not able to swallow without struggling to get it down. I'm going to the ER today so I can have record of what that Dentistry has put me through. I will not be returning to that office and I would NEVER recommend anyone that I know to attend their office. I know accidents happen but for that lady to tell me that I was a liar and that I was wrong instead of taking accountability further let's me know that this was not the first time. Now I'm in pain because of my throat and the meds they prescribed me are not working. I should have never gone in!!!!

Dr. Reith and his staff at New Smile Family Dentistry have gone above and beyond in helping me with an emergency dental situation. He was the only one that could get me in at short notice and the whole staff have been super flexible with my complicated needs and situation. Everyone was super professional, friendly, and I felt like they really cared about finding me help. I highly recommend them!

I absolutely love this dental clinic! Nothing but a great experience from calling to set up my 4 year old appointment! Called on a Tuesday and they got her in on Thursday. The receptionist was very sweet, greeted my daughter like her own. The dental assistant was so gentle and made my daughter feel so comfortable and relaxed. She was great! The doctor was very nice and thorough. Overall great experience and will keep coming back. Great group of staff.

I can't begin to explain how happy and thankful I am for my experience here. Right from the get go I felt like part of the family and it was a breath of fresh air. Katie was gentle and knew how nervous I was and really took great care of me. And Dr. Keith is on another level! He treated me like a friend and not a patient. Talked to me and devised a plan in a way that as crazy as it sounds that I'm ready for my next appointment. I'd give me stars if it would let me.
