One of the most fulfilling things that I love about being a dentist is building a wonderful relationship with my patients. My goal is to provide a patient-centered, comprehensive and minimal invasive care. Dentistry is more than just treating teeth; it's about combining the arts and science of dentistry in order to create confidence and self-esteem and a beautiful smile.
Dr. Martinez graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She received her undergraduate education from California State University of Fullerton and earned her degree with a BS in Biology. She then moved to Halifax where she went on to train at Dalhousie University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2007. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Martinez returned home to practice Dentistry in the city of Norwalk and Pico Rivera. Dr. Martinez has participated in an international dental mission trip where she provided essential dental care to underserved patients in Thailand.
Dr. Martinez believes that Dentistry is an exceptional profession that uniquely blends art and science, whereby she can positively impact her patients' oral health, confidence, and self-worth. Dr. Martinez and Her team at New Smile Dental Studio are looking forward to creating beautiful and healthy smiles for you and your family.
Dr. Martinez was born in Nicaragua and raised in California. She has lived in the city of Pasadena for more than 10 years. Dr Martinez takes approximately 20 continuing education hours per year gaining valuable information and staying current with all aspects of the dental field.
Dr. Armand Keuroghlian is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who graduated from Harbor - UCLA. He received his DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry and completed a 1 year internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Tx. Prior to graduating from the UCLA School of dentistry, Armand obtained a biology degree from the University of California, Irvine.
While working toward his dental degree at UCLA, he researched implants and their integration with bone and received numerous awards, including the OMFS Student Award and Deans Leadership Institute. While in dental school, he gravitated toward the surgical aspect of dentistry, so he decided to continue his education in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Habor-UCLA.

The best dental clinic ! I have been in many clinics, but never seen service of this high quality, not even close ... When you enter New smile dental clinic ,super beautiful young lady named Chelsey will greet you with lovely smile and your stress being in dental clinic surely will go away right away ... Dr. Karen is very good professional and did painless wonderful job and advised me what other works needs to be done on my teeth. Also I am so grateful to knowledgeable and caring assistant Lily. Go to New Smile clinic with confidence - you will be in good hands !

Great experience here! The front staff was super kind and helpful, getting me in for an exam and cleaning at the last moment. The X-rays were done gently and in a non-invasive way. The dentist was kind, explained what's going on with my teeth and did a great job cleaning my teeth! My whole mouth feels super clean and my teeth are happy and shiny

This place is a scam!!! A total scam you should avoid! They lie to you about your insurance coverage! I was told my procedure is not covered by my insurance and I have to pay $700. Guess what??? I called the insurance and it appeared it is fully covered. I went to another dentist and did it Absolutely free!! This place has to be complained to the government!!

Horrible staff!! You'll regret your visit! They just want to take your money even if the procedure is covered by the insurance!!! The tooth extraction is covered by my insurance but they said they won't do it until I pay $550 for filling because they don't extract without filling!!! Avoid these scammers

Dr. Martinez and her staff have been amazing. Been seeing her for about a month after years of not seeing a dentist and the level of care they show is incredible. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Martinez is quick, efficient and effective. Highly recommend seeing them for all your dental needs!

After being terrified of going to the dentist for a while. The New Smile Dental staff made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. Everyone was very patient with me and explained my treatment plan very thoroughly. I will definitely be back after such a delightful visit.

I went back and forth on my insurance with the receptionist. She assured me my cleaning (which was the most skimpy cleaning I've ever had) would covered but they charged me anyways and said I could be reimbursed. This was not the case and they charged me $350. The dentist also tried to get me to signup for Invisalign, when it wasn't covered by my insurance. Total rip off.

Dr. Martinez and staff provide a nothing but stellar experience! Providing top notch customer service above and beyond my expectations. It's been awhile since I had my teeth looked at. Needless to say I was very anxious and the explanations made me very confident that I was on my way to a New Smile!!!
