Just not nice. I asked a question twice and he acted annoyed when I asked for clarification. I understand you are the doctor and are smarter then me..... but don't be nasty when someone asks a question. It's just not nice. I wanted to say something on the spot but I knew if I said anything it would not be very nice. So I called and canceled my next appointment from my car. His most recent reviews are not good. Maybe it's time to retire?

The worst dental experience in my life!! Appointment was scheduled for 11 AM on November 23rd - I was not seen until 11:30 AM, however punctuality was not the primary issue with this office visit. I had a bad feeling while waiting in the waiting room but being that this was the closest dentist and covered under my insurance plan, I figured how bad can it be. Well, turns out not getting a cleaning at all and only a polish which I have now learned is called "Prophylaxis" was the only service provided. After checking in, I paid a $5 office visit fee. I scheduled a dental cleaning appointment - upon sitting in the dentist chair I continued to feel the uneasy feeling of this being a bad decision to remain at this dentist office. They immediately set me up to be X-rayed. I stated I am not interested in an X-ray, and I would like to only have a cleaning. They stated I needed to get an X-ray every 6-months and it's been longer then 6-months, so I obliged. I told the dentist I was experiencing some pain around the back left molar area of my mouth, and I was concerned I may have a cavity. After reviewing the X-rays, I was told I do not have a cavity and the pain may be a result of an impacted wisdom tooth. Grateful, for this information I started to feel more at ease. After a quick exam, I was told I needed a deep cleaning, the dentist immediately got up to tell the receptionist that they should bill my insurance for a deep cleaning. When he returned, I informed him I am not interested in a deep cleaning and only would like a regular cleaning today. He huffed and said fine regular, then immediately pulled out the equipment to polish my teeth. As someone that has gotten cleanings regularly since I was a young child, I felt like I fairly knew cleaning process and the polish would happen last. After he polished my teeth, he said all right, all done. Confused and not wanting to argue - I made my way to the lobby. When I arrived in the lobby the receptionist informed me that I owed an additional $5 fee for the "Prophylaxis" polish - worth noting $220 was billed to my insurance company. $10 copay in total and still no cleaning. I asked why I would have to pay an additional fee if I did not receive a cleaning. They stated that because I needed a deep cleaning, they did not perform a regular cleaning on me. I stated I wanted to make 100% sure that the cleaning was not billed to my insurance company - as I did not receive one. I don't trust this dental office and I will be following up with all dental boards, Department of Health, licensing departments and my insurance company to report this behavior. My opinion is this dental office is a racket to price gouge, commit insurance fraud and inconvenience the public. Needless to say, I will never return to this dentist, and I hope they are sincerely investigated for their malpractice. There are good dentists out there, and normally I have had a good experience visiting new dentists, lesson learned don't always trust dentists that are covered by your insurance - my self-pay dental experiences have far surpassed this experience in terms of cleanliness, politeness, accommodation and most importantly they didn't try to upsell me for treatment that was not necessary.

He was nice, so was the dental assistant. I didn't have to wait, either.

Dr. Kanatov is our family dentist for 9 years. He is very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating doctor. My experience is always positive with him regardless what I am needed: basic cleaning, root canals, handling Invisiline braces or more complex dental work. I would highly recommend Dr Kanatov for any dental work you needed or need second opinion,.

My experience at this office has so far been outstanding, the doctor at the office was very good and attentive to my dental needs. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the front dest (Tatyana) who was very patient with me filling out the paper work. The dental assistant was extremely helpful and very efficient while cleaning my teeth. It was easy to get an appointment and they worked well with my schedule. I recommend this office!!

the dentist was aweful.... 'cleaned' my teeth like he had some place top be. Told me that he wasnt responsible for flossing after a cleaning that I was. I said that I'd never had a more superficial and uncaring cleaning and that it wasnt thorough and he said, Oh you want a deep cleaning? No, I want a professional, thorough cleaning like every other good cleaning ive ever had.... the cleaning itself took about ten minutes.... any good cleaning will take around 40 minutes. This guy was terrible. Dont waste your time and dont recommend him. He's awful. I literally had to make an appointment for a cleaning after leaving his office.... I could still feel some build up and he told me I was feeling the space between my teeth.... huh? Its my mouth and Im pretty familiar with it..!!! He was Awful!!! F grade
