'I find it necessary to care about my patients overall well-being. As a family dentist, I care a great deal about my patients. My wonderful staff and I apply a show, tell, udo approach when working with children to relax them and take the fear factor out of coming to the dentist. We also focus on gentle dentistry for adults, believing in educating our patients.
As a dentist, I have the unique opportunity to affect people's lives on a daily basis. Oftentimes, people are afraid to come to the dentist because of a negative past experience. Many of our patients on their first visit tell me how scared they are. I take the time to address their fears and we develop a plan together for comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Guess
Dr. Guess is an honors graduate of the South Carolina State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She continued her education at Howard University, College of Dentistry. She received a first-rate training in all aspects of general dentistry. After completing her degree, Dr. Guess returned to South Carolina where she has been providing quality dentistry to Beaufort and Jasper counties for several years.
Through a combination of state-of-the-art technology, sensible treatment plans, and genuine devotion to the unique needs of each patient, Dr. Guess preserves healthy teeth and gums, alleviates oral discomfort, and improves the appearance of smiles on a daily basis.
She has applied her unique blend of artistic and technical skills to produce durable and aesthetic results in thousands of patients. A young dentist with a grasp of the most innovative, minimally invasive new procedures, Dr. Guess is dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education courses.
Dr. Guess is licensed by the Dental Board of South Carolina and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also speaks at several of the women-for-women healthcare events and performs community service and continuing education throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Dr. Guess and her husband Vincent have three beautiful children, Grant, Victoria, and Andrew. She enjoys spending time with her family while enjoying many of the area's amenities: walking, bicycling, or even going to the beach to catch a glimpse of the dolphins going by. They are also active members of their church.

Botox is a medication that can only be prescribed to you by a healthcare professional. It is used as a temporary treatment for patients between the ages of 18 and 65. Botox uses a special protein to block overactive nerve impulses, restricting muscle contractions. In doing so, Botox helps to relax the muscles beneath the skin, so that fine lines and wrinkles become less visible, giving the skin a healthy, more youthful appearance.
Depending on each individual case, the results can last between one and six months. Treatment is temporary, and once the Botox begins to wear off, the skin will return to the way it looked before treatment.

If I could give it zero stars I would. They violated HIPPA by letting a nurse tech name Maria Enamorado work there. I've been going for a couple of years and my mouth has a lot of work to be done due to personal health reasons. Ms.Maria has gone to her church and personally given out information of me about my mouth state. She has degraded me in front of others. Last visit which was today she made petty and snarky comments about me and when I spoke to the doctor about it she acted like it wasn't a big issue. Definitely don't recommend if your mouth "has a lot of work to be done".

We are visiting friends here and I had a crown come off a molar. Dr. Grant-Guess saw me the same day I called and did a needed tooth extraction the next day. I have had three teeth extracted previously by oral surgeons but I felt Dr. Guess did a much better job, with less time and discomfort involved. Her staff were friendly, courteous and professional. If I was relocating permanently to this area I would definitely ask Dr. Grant-Guess to provide my dental care.

New River Dental is the best in the area. I have been going to New River Dental for almost 4 years. The are always a friendly smiling face when you walk through the door. The service is always great and professional. Dr. Guess is amazing. If you are looking for a dentist in the area go and try them out. You will be glad you did!

Disclaimer: I am not known to post reviews, I was in need of extensive dental work. Lower jaw. Teeth needed to be extracted, eight implants, temporary dentures, then After an almost a years time a full high quality lower, non removable arch. Yup it was expensive, however not as much as other estimates I obtained. Some dental establishments wanted to send me one place for extraction, then they would finish the job. Did not want that. New River Dental is a one stop shop. They did it all. Quality care from the front desk to the dental chair, then out the door. Outstanding.

I went to this dentist on Wednesday the day before thanksgiving and was told I needed a $2500 root canal .The dentist could careless and didn't take her time to even try and help me , knowing the pain I was in . she treated me like a number and not a Person . I went to another dentist on the Friday after Thanksgiving and had that same tooth filled for 284$ That's less then my expensive X Rays at New river which were 220$ and 100$ for the cleaning , lol . Please people read this and go elsewhere .

Such a great experience! I called them today at 2:30 needing a last minute consultation for an extraction and they actually got me in at 3pm and did the consultation AND the extraction! Affordable, amazing customer service, and very quick. Maria, and Kayla were SOOO SOOO very nice and welcoming and the other lady at the desk is the one who got me in so quickly! Dr. Guess was awesome as well! It was a team effort and I was very shocked and thankful for a completely wonderful staff. Although I had to get an important and visible tooth removed, they still made me smile! Thank you all so much!

All three of my children ages ten, six and twenty-two months see Dr. Guess, and they all love New River Dental. Dr. Guess and her staff is very patient and caring with my children. We've never had to complain about anything. Excellent service every single time!
