Our son loves NOCDC! Very clean and professional while being perfect for kids. The atmosphere keeps him calm. He looks like a rockstar, chilling in his NOCDC sunglasses, getting his teeth cleaned! Staff is kind and friendly.

THEY ARE LUCKY I CANT GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!!! My daughter had to get a filling done here but I canceled the appointment due to certain things preventing me from brining her. Fast forward to when I could actually make her an appointment. I called the office and was informed that she was "dismissed" from the practice and would have to find somewhere else to go because we didn't follow up in the time frame they wanted me to. I explained to the lady who answered the phone what happened and she stated it was a "liability issue" stating that my child could potentially die from not having a cavity filled. I thought that was very unprofessional and inappropriate to tell someone this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

We really enjoy Dr. Axelrod. She is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. What I have also appreciated her team's commitment to continuing education, as she regularly attends pediatric dental conferences and implements the newest technology and techniques. This group is compassionate, smart and on-it.

Very unprofessional, I provided my personal information such as my social, work place, address, dental insurance etc. over the phone to a worker I was told it was for they're records. My kids appointment was originally at 10:20am I contacted the office at 8:00am and was told my kids appointment was canceled because I didn't fill out the proper paper work they needed in the time frame they wanted it, which I was filling out at the time , and that was my reason for contacting them I was having problems with connection. I was told when I scheduled to have the paper work back before my kids appointment, we had never agreed to a time frame. I missed worked and my kids missed school, because of a choice they made. What was the purpose giving all my information over the phone if it was going to get cancelled . They need to have guided lines in black and white with your signature agreeing to have back paper work or appointment would be cancelled. I'm so upset! They were all about billing, (such as whose paying the bill) I need to contact my insurance to make sure, my personal information was not used as if , they service was provided. NEVER WOULD I REFER this dentist to anyone ! I'll be okay if I hadn't given out all my personal information to someone I don't even know !

This is the absolute BEST dental office for a child in the New Orleans area! Dr. Axlerad does not disappoint! She does not give unnecessary treatments to your child. Tries her best to make it a pain free experience. She is very honest and knows how to make the child and parents feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff is also very sweet and they seem happy to be at work. Just an overall great group to receive service from. I'm sad that we moved and are no longer patients of theirs.

Hands down the BEST pediatric dentist we have found in our 27 years of parenting! The calm atmosphere in addition to the aesthetically pleasing office isn't even the highlight! The ENTIRE STAFF run the whole location with what feels like a complex orchestra! The dentist and her assistant's are SOOOO attentive and LISTEN to the patient! Our now 8yr old can't WAIT to go back!! That's a first in our experience of raising kids! What a GEM this entire place is!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! Their inly concern is money! They have no understanding or empathy!!! I rescheduled 2 appointments for my daughter because my mom was dying in the hospital & she ultimately passed & now I'm informed of being put on a same day appointment list because we missed 2 appointments which I called beforehand & let the receptionist know. Ridiculous!!!

The staff and dentists are totally obsessed with billing. I have dealt with a lot of dr's offices over the years including many that are 'out of network' and they will typically work with the customer/patient on costs etc. Not so at New Orleans Children's Dental Center-they want their money and they want it now. My only guess is that they are in a new building that was expensive to construct and I'm sure the practice is feeling the mortgage heat from covid lack of business. Understandable but it doesn't excuse their exceedingly curt and testy attitude when I ask simple questions about expected length of appointment and how a insurance claim is processed. I love supporting Lakeview businesses but will not be returning to this one.
