Dr. Thomas Yoon and his team offer dentistry for your entire family kids through seniors. We understand that everyone has unique, individual needs. This is why we provide patient-centered care with the focus on you and your satisfaction.
Dr. Thomas Yoon was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. After finishing his undergraduate education at Brown University, he continued on to the University of Pittsburgh to get his dental degree. Dr. Yoon also completed a general practice residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, where he received advanced specialty training in the main hospital and at associated dental clinics throughout New York City.
After working in New York, Dr. Yoon returned to Maryland to serve his hometown communities. While working as an associate dentist in a private practice, he cared for thousands of children, teenagers, and adults by performing various dental procedures. These ranged from routine preventive exams and cleanings emergency pain treatment and custom crown and denture work.
In 2018, Dr. Yoon opened his own practice to serve the Gaithersburg and surrounding areas with the goal of delivering personalized care to children and adults of all ages. Today he provides a large variety of quality dental services to his patients using state-0f-the-art technologies and modern dental techniques. Dr. Thomas Yoon prides himself in being able to connect with his patients and provide a comfortable, relaxing experience. Extra care is taken to provide a light touch, painless injections, clear communications, and a smooth scheduling process.
Dr. Yoon is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Southern Maryland Dental Society.He enjoys participating in Continuing Education courses each year ensure up-to-date dental techniques and technologies are implemented throughout his practice.
Dr. Yoon spends his free time with his wife, Kelsey, and his two toddler children, Ryan and Allie. These days, he loves spending time at the playground with his kids, teaching his son how to ride a scooter around the neighborhood, playing peek-a-boo with his daughter, and trying new foods with his wife. Dr. Yoon is an avid football fan and loyal supporter of the Baltimore Ravens. He enjoys traveling to new areas, whether it is discovering a new local spot or taking a road trip with his family.

Maggy is our main receptionist and insurance coordinator here at New Look Dental Care. She brings a wealth of experience from previous positions. Her willingness to help and ability to speak Spanish fluently really shine in patient care.
Amanda is one of our fantastic dental assistants at New Look Dental Care. She has advanced training in assisting and uses these skills daily. She also takes pride in her work by being able to help patients relax and feel comfortable during their dental visits.
Jocelyn is another of our wonderful dental assistants. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and hopes to continue advancements in this field of healthcare. Her ability to speak Spanish fluently allows her to connect personally with our diverse patient population.

Highly recommend this office! Everything about the experience was very pleasant! I plan to make this my permanent dentist moving forward, because I really enjoyed the level of service. On arrival, I was greeted by a clean office and the staff at the front desk. The woman working there for my visit (unfortunately did not catch her name) was extremely friendly and courteous. That was a great first impression, and the office only continued to impress. The woman who was my hygenist was also very friendly and made sure to explain everything in detail, as well as answering any questions I had. Similarly, the doctor was very thorough during my visit, and even put my xrays on the television to review with me. After my teeth had been cleaned, Dr. Yoon reviewed some tips with me to keep my dental hygeine game on point while at home. I think it is also worth noting that the office is very modern. After making an appointment, all forms are forwarded to your email. Once you fill them out, you are prepared and ready to go. All you have to do once you show up, is submit your license and insurance card! As someone extremely familiar with computers, this is always a plus for me! Really appreciate the level of service provided by the office, and I highly recommend them to anyone who may be searching. **Edit: At my follow-up visit, they cancelled my appointment the day before due to information about my insurance that was incorrect. After confirming my plan online, I tried to reach out in the days that followed, but did not get a reply from the office. Will just end up looking for a new practice.**

I always have great experience at this place. They are friendly and the place is so clean and well maintained. We are moving out of the neighborhood in a few weeks but I'm definitely keeping this dentist and don't mind driving back to this clinic for my future appointments.

All of my life I've had major anxiety every time I had a dentist visit, I would even avoid going until I felt I had a problem. I now found Dr. Yoon and my anxiety has disappeared, he is so gentle and knowledgeable. The staff is super kind and friendly as well, the office is clean and nicely decorated. So happy I found them! I'm a new patient here. I arrived at my 1st appointment on time. Checked in with receptionist and didn't have to sit in the waiting room more than 1 minute. That's NEVER happened B4 in my entire life & I've been going to the Dentist over 60 years! The service was prompt, courteous & professional. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new Dentist.

My 2 boys had their very first dental appointments with Dr. Yoon. It was amazing! They were so kind and caring, made it a completely fun experience with Paw Patrol on the TV and goodie bags at the end. Love the waiting area, as well!
