Beyond understanding my professional qualifications, it is important to me that you know why I chose to be a dental health care providerand consequently why I am passionate about your dental health. When I think back about the best moments in my lifemy first date, a surprise birthday party, a big sporting event, my wedding day, etc., they are all connected by a common themeFOOD! In my life, every significant event has revolved around great food and celebrating with food, a concept that has been ingrained in me since my childhood in Taiwan. Whenever my family gets together, the first question that anyone asks is, have you eaten?! Meals for my family can be epic events that can take a full day of preparation and cooking, but ultimately provide us with ample time to laugh and share important moments together. While every family and culture has their own traditions around food, meals are ultimately a universal expression of community and friendship shared by all, which is why food and the ability to enjoy food is very important to me.
That is where Dentistry comes in. I realize that if your teeth are not working harmoniously, they can interfere with your ability to chew and prevent you from fully savoring food in all of its wonderful flavors and textures. Since so much enjoyment stems from coming together around food, it is my goal to ensure that your teeth are in optimal health so that food will always be an enjoyable experience.
To that end, I invite you to come in and see us so that I can meet you and learn how I can best care for your dental health. Hopefully, I can give you some food for thought and information about teeth for you to chew on!
I grew up in the Central Valley, and was inspired to become a dentist by my father, who was a family dentist. The key to lifelong oral health starts at a young age, so I became a pediatric dentist in order to teach my patients and their parents positive oral hygiene habits.
Stephanie has been practicing dentistry since 2015, after graduating College of Marins RDA program. Her favorite part about working in dentistry is connecting with patients and helping them improve their health while having a positive experience with our team.

I have had a great experience with this dental company. Dr. Kuo is very aware and makes it a point to treat you with care. Brenda is a great receptionist who is kind and always willing to fork with you! All in all, great experience!

Great dentist and staff. I have been seeing Dr Kuo for about two years now. Always professional. Super efficient. And great work. And he's got a knack for getting me to floss my teeth. ;)

By far, the greatest experience I've had with a dentist as well as the staff there at New Leaf. They are very patient, and will work with you to be sure you understand every procedure needed before the work is performed. With a member 'afraid and embarrassed' to go see a dentist, it was a huge relief to know that they will not turn you away. Instead, their response was 'Gotta start somewhere', and they were right! I can't thank you enough Dr. Kuo, Barbara and the rest of the staff there at New Leaf!

I recently became Dr Kuo's patient. As a new patient, they were thorough and walked me through their process and did a full examination. Very effective and professional dental office. Everyone here is great. If you're looking for a dentist in the area I highly recommend Dr. Kuo!

The Best Dentist. Dr Kuo and his staff to be knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He takes the time to ensure questions are answered. My wife (who is Japanese) feels he is the best dentist she has ever met--in the US or Japan.

I have been a patient at the New Leaf Rohnert Park dental office for several years and have always been pleased with their friendly staff and quality of care. Last week I cracked a tooth with an old filling and Dr. Kuo was able to get me in that same afternoon. His work was excellent, his assistants were skilled, and he explained the whole process as he went along. In a couple of hours I walked out with a new crown. Not even any pain the next day! I highly recommend his office.

I am so scared if the Dentist, but Dr. Kuo makes me feel so comfortable, by telling me what procedure he will be performing and during the procedure he's always asking me if I'm ok.

Dr Kuo has been my dentist since I moved back to the states in 2012. I originally went to his office to see my former dentist, however, she was no longer accepting new patients, but Dr Kuo was. From the experience I had abroad, the idea of going into a dentist office brought on huge anxiety to the point I only had to step in the door to burst into tears. Dr Kuo's demenor has helped me work through all of that. He is helping me fix the mess I was left with, something I was so afraid to even attempt. He explains to me every step of the process, and is fantastic at reading body language! Every now and then, he has to remind me to breath and relax, when I consciously had no idea I was actually tensing up. I even recently moved to Windsor, and refuse to find a dentist closer, the little extended drive is worth it. If you want a Dentist who excels at his profession, and treats his patients with the upmost respect... Dr Kuo is your guy!

Great personalities from the staff and each conversation I've had with them has been enjoyable. The numbing when I got my cavities filled was completely effective and I couldn't feel a thing during the filler removal. Dr. Kuo also generously polished my teeth free of charge because I told him I was going on a date that day. Haven't had a more welcoming and friendly relationship with another dentist.

I've been going to Dr Kuo for a few years now mostly for cleanings but I've had crowns and fillings done by him as well. He's kind, compassionate and very concerned about how his patients are feeling throughout any procedure. I feel that he listens and takes seriously what his patients have to say. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for not only a great dentist but one that has a good heart.

My wife came here first and raved about what a positive experience she had. I hadn't been to the dentist in at least two years. Set up an appointment and feel the same as my wife. Dr. Kuo and his staff are so friendly and kind. This is where I'll be coming until Dr. Kuo retires or I move.

Great tech-forward approach to new patient signup. They sent me the form via mobile before my arrival so I was able to get in to see the doctor faster. Assessment was direct and communicated on my understanding level with visual aids. After I was walked through line-item pricing and follow up procedure date. I had 2 regular procedures and 1 advanced procedure all scheduled at the same time () Day of procedure was comforted and reassured every step of the way. They even let me use some awesome sunglasses . I felt in control even though I was the one being worked on-- which to me is a hard balance for any doctor to strike. Overall the experience was great and look forward to getting more services from New Leaf. :)

I Would give Dr. Kuo thousands of stars!! Definitely the best dentist I've known. Dr. Kuo shows that he cares about his patients, he would make You feel comfortable no matter what procedure. I definitely trust him And would highly recommend him without a doubt. Dr. Kuo takes the time to call me and asks how I feel after a procedure, super humble, professional, great attitude, respectful and a great doctor!
