Doctor Fernando CorderoDurangraduated from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2002 Dr. Cordero has been providing excellent dental care to the Bushwick and Ridgewood communities. Dr.Cordero is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In March 17, 2011 he opened his own practice, NEW IMAGE DENTAL, a modern dentistry concept with a state-of-the art facility and the latest in dental technology.

I give this establishment one star, Dr. Cordero is an amazing dentist and he genuinely cares for his patients. My only complaint is his front desk receptionist. She and I have had numerous amount of verbal exchanges because she is simply rude, unkind, and always has an attitude whether it's over the phone or in person. Not only has she been rude to me but she was rude to my mother today, who is also a patient there and that was the final straw for me. Can't understand a receptionist that hangs up on a returning patient, says a lot about the receptionist and her care towards patients. Dr. cordero if you read this review, I strongly suggest you require your staff to take some trainings to better deal with patients who actually like the work you do and want to keep going back to you.

Our experience at new image dental was amazing . The receptionist was very good at finding a way to help me with my son as a walk in and the doctor treated us very well . Answered all my questions and took care of my son as fast as he could .I highly recommend this office .

My daughter and I've been patients here since 2015. Dr.Fernando Cordero is an amazing doctor, as well as his staff. Everyone is so welcoming and thorough in the work they do. Couldn't ask for a better practice!

My experiences with Dentists have not always been good but today had some work don't by Dr Cordero and all I can say he is AWESOME...I felt at ease with him and his assistant...Overall all the ladies were great at the arrival of my appt...FOUND MY DENTIST!!!!

I've been Dr. Cordero's patient for years and I will say, those years have been great. It's easy to make appointments. I get notifications when my appointment date is nearing. My appointments are usually early in the morning and there's plenty of parking near the office at that time of the day. Easy check-in and will usually see the doctor on time. The office is clean, smells fresh, and the staff has always been friendly, efficient, and respectful. Dr. Cordero is friendly, professional, and compassionate. He takes the time to ask and listen in regards to any issues you may be having and will always make sure your questions are answered, before you leave the office. I will be a faithful patient for as long as he is in practice. I recommend him 100%!

God bless Dr. Fernando Cordero! He is the best! I wished that I had met him 25 years ago. My previous experiences with other dentists were very painful & traumatic. Out of fear and anxiety I refused to go to the dentist. Which hurt me in the long run. Then I met Dr. Fernando Cordero. I expressed my fears and anxiety and trust issues that I had due to my past experiences. Dr. Cordero was very sympathetic & listened. He has a way of calming your fears. He has gentle hands not rough like the other dentists I've been to. My root canal experience was amazing. Listen, If bad dental experiences are keeping you from taking care of your teeth & the fear, phobia and anxiety are preventing you from seeing a dentist Please go see Dr. Cordero! This is an emergency of my daughter in the middle of a pandemic and that they don't want to help my daughter and the secretary took us out side and said to wait there in the cold bad service Very very disappointed in these doctor office because my daughter has a serious tooth ache and the doctor does not want to attend us they let other people that don't have insurance and they let them pass but my daughter has a good insurance and they don't let us pass to get a check up I don't know how people give good reviews if it's not true.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever dealt with. Been going here a little over a year now and always feel comfortable.
