Dr. Amy Lee Wilsoncame to Trinidad in 1993. She was attracted to the mountains and loves the area for the beautiful weather and scenery. Having grown up in the more flat state of Oklahoma, she appreciates the mountains and clear blue skies.
She became interested in dentistry in high school and pursued her interest through college and graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry in 1993 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Since then she has pursued her interest in esthetic dentristry, orthodontics and temporomandibular joint disorders. She is a member of many dental groups including the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, International Association for Orthodontics, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Amy is an accomplished pianist and enjoys playing for the Trinidad United Methodist Church and local singing groups. She has given several concerts over the years and looks forward to more in the future. She recently performed Beethovens Chorale Fantasy with part of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic.
She has her private pilots license and keeps her plane hangared in Raton, NM. She and Peanut (Dr. Amys cute Bichon Frise puppy) fly as often as they can. She also enjoys aerobatic flight and is pursuing instruction in that as well. Dr. Amy recently married Mart Mangelsdorf on the island of St. John U.S.V.I. They are enjoying their new life together.

Made an appointment for a toothache and waited 2 weeks in agony for them to deny service because they don't accept Medicaid after telling me over the phone they did. Absolute joke.

Renee was awesome on my teeth cleaning and vigilant about my comfort! Super clean practices! Dr Amy actually visits with her patient's apparently as well...impressive! I paid cash and appreciated staff answering my questions on pricing and procedures needed now and maybe some that could wait. I am already in the books for my next check up! Highly recommend. I have been coming to see Dr. Amy Wilson since 1999. Our family has always had great work done here. Dr. Amy is very kind and thoughtful and always makes sure your doing okay. Just had 2 crowns done today in 1 visit. I recommend New Image Advanced Dental

I always have a good visit at New Image even though I'm a really big baby about pain & discomfort. Dr Amy has such a kind & gentle bedside manner to compliment her very capable abilities. My mouth is a mess but thankfully she has taken control & her treatment plan saved me thousands of dollars and numerous trips to Pueblo & Colorado Springs. If you care about your mouth, take it to Dr Amy Wilson.

I highly recommend Dr Amy Wilson. She worked up several plans for my teeth along with costs. She listened to my needs and did a beautiful job! I had the most pain free experience ever. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for the best she's right here in Trinidad!

I was told on the phone that they don't do wisdom teeth removal, I was under the impression that they did because it literally says they do on their website.

This was an important appt to remove a bad implant. The staff got me in and was able to have it removed. Dr. Amy is one of the best with numbing needle. I feel well cared for by Dr Amy and her staff. Thanks!
