I went in as a new patient, I wanted to get my teeth cleaned. I filled in the new patient form and waited 2 hours to be called in. In the meantime, the lobby was packed with patients. I get in got X-rays done, they took me to another room where I waited another 15 mins to be seen by dentist. The dentist came in didn't even introduce himself until I asked. The dentist said everything looks good you just need to do your cleaning. I asked the assistant will I get my teeth cleaned today? She said, it's going to be awhile since we are real busy. I didn't have the time. (Almost 3 hours later) She said I'll have them call you to reschedule for your cleaning. I never got the call. I called to schedule my cleaning. Today I went and they wanted to charge me $94 out of pocket for a deep cleaning of my teeth. I said with my insurance I get free cleaning The hygienist said that is what the doctor is recommending. She said she couldn't give me a regular cleaning. I asked for my x-rays and they lost my business. I wasn't happy the first time around, but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. No thanks

i've been coming to this dentistry since i was a kid, since they were in a different location. i have no complaints about the staff. they are all very friendly and helpful! but the dentist himself is a total weirdo. he's always been super touchy with me and my sister and it's honestly really gross. one of my family members knew one of his family members and we've heard some pretty alarming things. yall be careful who you take your kids to.

I was sent over to this Dentestry after my five hour medieval time torture in Brownsville. So I get there paid in cash since they don't take insurance for a tooth extraction??? Then the doctor is not there he is late ? I waited for almost an hour and the only thing I was going to be given was a pill for sedation .. what ? I don't think so !!! I asked for my money back And left I didn't even get a call until 3 hours later to ask for a in person consultation and that never happened. Wouldn't go there !! We as patients suffer enough!!!!!!!

Dr At New Horizons and Uptown office are nice but their staff is very unorganized unprofessional rude and they know nothing about customer service. They blame shift on each other instead of trying to help patients. They lack communication skills to let patients know in time that the service the patient needs is not covered. They wait till the day of your appointment to say it's not covered and stick you with the bill.
