I believe this is why what I do is called the Practice of Dentistry. I believe that our mouth is the gateway to our body, and our body is the gateway to our spirit.
My mission is to assist my patients in maintaining a healthy, comfortable mouth for a lifetime. I want my patients to feel in control of their oral health while enjoying a healthy, beautiful smile. Giving my patients a comfortable and pain-free dental experience is my priority. The trust my patients put in me is a great honor that I dont take lightly.
Dr. Estwani continued his post graduate training at the MCV Hospital and McGwire Veterans Affairs Hospital through a 2 year Dental Medicine/General Practice Residency, where he served as chief resident his 2nd year. After his residency, he completed a 1 year comprehensive training program in Dental Implantology, and a 2 year training program in Orthodontics. Dr. Estwani is also very proud of being an Alumni of the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He is dedicated to providing the best care possible to his patients by receiving extensive training and continuing education in implants, orthodontics, laser dentistry, sedation and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Estwani commitment to constantly advancing himself in dental education is marked by his achievement of a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Estwani lives in Herndon with his wife and four children. He enjoys participating in his childrens extracurricular activities, and has coached youth soccer, basketball, football and wrestling. He loves watching and playing sports, as well as playing chess and horseback riding.

After trying out a few other practices I can't say enough of how great NHDC is. Clean offices, new equipment, and talented dentists that work with you and your budget. Well staffed, professional and courteous, can't say enough of how great NHDC is.

Dr. Estwani is an excellent dentist. Experience matters. He has over 20 years of it, and he has been at the same location since 2002. That's credibility. He and his staff are always kind and respectful, and his office is consistently full of clients. Remember, dentists are like restaurants...if they are not busy, then they are not good. You won't regret choosing Dr. Estwani for your dental needs.

Not the friendliest place, let me start of with that I hate the dentist in general. I hate going, it just makes me uncomfortable. With that being said service was fine they did a good job just unfriendly and didn't make it easier for me going there. The first person to attend to me didn't introduce themselves nor told me what was happening. They guided me to the chair and immediately started looking at the computer, no introduction of who they were nor what they were going to do. I didn't even know they needed to take an x ray of my mouth until she asked me if I had any chance of being pregnant and getting out the X-ray covers. After the x-ray she just instructed me to open my mouth and she got to cleaning. Naturally I thought she was my hygienist. When she goes to rinse water sprays everywhere and all over my face (She seemed rushed). Once she was done she got the doctor who introduced himself (he was the only person to introduce themselves) and said that my hygienist was coming. Naturally I ask then what was this other person doing? Then the actual hygienist comes in and just starts to get to work, again without introducing themselves. Me being a person who is honestly gets super uncomfortable to go to the dentist, they didn't make it any easier nor comfortable. Just strangers poking inside my mouth. Just an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience. I will be looking for a different dentist.

A very friendly and professional atmosphere. Renee was my hygienist and she was so sweet and welcoming, and the front desk ladies were also. Everyone I interacted with were kind, and all were very cognizant of what my insurance covered and walking me through everything, which was greatly appreciated! Highly recommend and will be back for future appointments.

They always take such good care of my family and me. The staff and Dr. Estwani are professional yet personable, very kind and gentle. I highly recommend them. I travel 45 minutes for this kind of dentistry. :)

I was extremely pleasantly surprised with my first experience at New Horizons Dental Center. I went because I needed a dentist near home. I found a great one near home! Extremely informative, went above and beyond my expectations, and very friendly. I appreciate you all at NHDC and thank you for an awesome first visit! Near or far, I 100% recommend giving them a try.

After going here, I can see why it is almost 5 stars! Friendly staff and management! As I was leaving, a woman walked in inquiring if they took her insurance, they did not, but one of the staff took the time to lookup where this woman could go. Amazing!
