Today, NEW Health operates seven (7) Community Medical Clinics, three (3) Community Dental Clinics, and three (3) internal Pharmacies, all serving Stevens, Ferry, and Pend Oreille counties. Our professional team includes physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, behavioral health specialists, dentists, dental hygienists and support staff.
NEW Health continues to ensure access to all, with convenient locations and a sliding discount program. All residents in our service area deserve affordable healthcare that is provided ethically and with respect.
NEW Health is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status concerning certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
There are many words we would all use to describe 2020. It was a year of disruption, a year of uncertainty, and a year of challenge. When I reflect back, the best word to describe NEW Health in 2020 is resiliency.

The rapid response and NEW Healths ability to adapt to the changing demands of COVID-19 would not have been possible without amazing employees. Since 1978, NEW Health has worked to provide medical and dental services to uninsured, underinsured, and insured residents of Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties. NEW Health provides services regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
NEW Health is a 501(c)(3), and all donations are tax-deductible. 100% of the proceeds of your donations stay at NEW Health to help us continue to provide healthcare services to residents of our communities.
NEW Health was formed when community members represented by the Southern Stevens County Healthcare Association identified the lack of primary healthcare services in the Tri-county area of Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties. The goal was to address the issues of accessibility of primary care, cost of care, coordination of care, quality of care, and lack of specific health services.
To achieve these ends, measures were taken to strategically place clinics into isolated, rural communities in the Tri-county region of northeast Washington. With this model, NEW Health has been able to deliver quality healthcare to people in rural communities where it was not available before.

BEWARE. They bill you via third party and don't tell you until it hits collections 2 years later. Even when paid upfront. Lisa at the front desk won't help and will hang up on you. Unless state insurance, highly don't recommend.

Awful experience!! I have actually had to open up a fraud complaint with my insurance company in regards to this place. I scheduled an appointment, they had me waiting for almost 45 min, then the doctor came in for 5 seconds just to tell me they had to reschedule me for a later date (even though I had called ahead to make sure my procedure would be handled that day due to work scheduling concerns). I left without having any procedures done and they billed me for the full visit. So now I have molina fraud dept. involved because this place is trying to mess with my credit and send it to collections. Absolute nightmare, I have spoken to a few people who have had similar experiences, avoid this place like the plague!!!!

I've been seeing Doctor Nelson for years. He's a very skilled dentist, gentle with shots, great at keeping what teeth I've managed to keep in working order. He's also wonderful about offering affordable solutions for my dental problems. I can't recommend this place enough!

This offices inability to keep appointments and provide service is astounding. I live in suncrest and i do my best to support local businesses, but with the level of unprofessional services provided here i can't return to this office. Patients beware....make the drive somewhere else and put yourself in good hands with someone competent. Also, I have wasted enough of my time with your company and I'm not going to take any more of my time reaching out to a form response for you to "improve service" that you obviously have no intent of actually following through with otherwise this would have been handled in a more efficient manner 6 months ago when I made a complaint with the office staff. If you want additional information about the multiple issues that brought me to choosing to not use your business again you have my contact information. Waste your own time before you waste any more of mine.

I really enjoy that the doctors give very honest opinions and really try to do only what's necessary rather than point out unnecessary things to get all of the money out of you that they can. They truly care for you as a patient and do what's best for you. Staff is very kind also, I would recommend this place.
