Dr. Diana Esshaki practices in both the Beverly and Topsfield locations and is a native of Massachusetts. She's both attended and taught at Boston University, UMass, Tufts University and is proud to be from the Boston area.
Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil are orthodontists, and they were dentists first. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six go on to become orthodontists. To practice orthodontics, Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency).
Orthodontic students spend three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. You want an expert to give you a new smile-not from aligners you get in the mail.
Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires exert a continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.
We use sleek, smooth brackets such as American Orthodontics Mini Masters Series metal brackets and 3M Clarity Advanced ceramic braces. Both options feature a low profile design that's both more comfortable and less noticeable.

Dr. Diana Esshaki grew up in Brookline, MA. She earned her BA from Boston University in Classical Civilization and Biology. Next, she received her Master of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
For four years, Dr. Diana served on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she supervised dental students' training in oral health care management of the medically complex patient population.
Getting to know our patients and their families is also rewarding. I love seeing my patients out in our community and realizing that I played a part in their brilliant smiles. When we see patients who can 't stop smiling, we know we 've accomplished our goal.'
Dr. Neil completed his orthodontic residency at Tufts University and has since gone through the rigorous testing process to distinguish himself as a board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontists.

I usually bring my kids to the Beverly office, but went here because the appointment time worked better. Dr. Neil is so nice and my son loved him. It's actually nice having 2 locations to choose from and they are both really convenient locations. Don't hesitate choosing them for your family's care!

We have had such an incredible experience at NEOS! My son is only 6 years old but already needs orthodontic work to help expand his palate. He was really nervous about going (as I was too!), but Dr. Neil and his colleagues put my son at ease right from the moment we walked in the door! They were so warm and friendly and the office was beautiful and clean. I can't say enough about our experience so far, and I was relieved to find an orthontist I could trust and who made my son feel so comfortable! I highly recommend this place.

We are so happy with our children's care here. Everyone is so nice from the front desk to the assistants. Dr. Neil is so kind and knowledgeable. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Amazing office! Clean, modern, plenty of parking and easy to find. The staff is super friendly and the assistants are gentle. Dr. Diana did my Invisalign and she is by far the most knowledgeable, smart and caring doctor. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Had my first itero scan for Invisalign by Brittani and she was so gentle.The Drs and staff are very professional and explain everything .I can't wait to start my invisilign

Walking into this practice was warm and friendly and the office is beautiful. The staff are so awesome and great with the kids. Both Dr's are professional and personable. I would highly recommend treatment here!!!

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with New England Orthodontic Specialists! I have high standards and all of my expectations were met by both the work I and the treatment I received from the specialist and staff. I do not often write reviews for anything, but I highly recommend this office for all ages!

My children are receiving excellent care at New England Orthodontic Specialists. The doctors have made me feel so comfortable with my children's plan of treatment and I can't wait to see the results. The staff is wonderful and caring. The office is very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with choosing New England Orthodontic Specialists for my family's orthodontic treatment. My kids really look forward to their visits!

Very friendly staff. They seem to know school schedules and assist with trouble shooting problems with braces. Appointments are easy to make and the office appears to accomodate changes easily. Dr.Sozanski was able to provide a plan that made sense to us. My sons teeth are already looking better. We really like Barbara in the Topsfield office. She is fantastic. My son wanted to add that Dr. Sozanski is really nice too.
