Dr. Diana Esshaki practices in both the Beverly and Topsfield locations and is a native of Massachusetts. She's both attended and taught at Boston University, UMass, Tufts University and is proud to be from the Boston area.
Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil are orthodontists, and they were dentists first. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six go on to become orthodontists. To practice orthodontics, Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency).
Orthodontic students spend three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. You want an expert to give you a new smile-not from aligners you get in the mail.
Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires exert a continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.
We use sleek, smooth brackets such as American Orthodontics Mini Masters Series metal brackets and 3M Clarity Advanced ceramic braces. Both options feature a low profile design that's both more comfortable and less noticeable.

Dr. Diana Esshaki grew up in Brookline, MA. She earned her BA from Boston University in Classical Civilization and Biology. Next, she received her Master of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
For four years, Dr. Diana served on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she supervised dental students' training in oral health care management of the medically complex patient population.
Getting to know our patients and their families is also rewarding. I love seeing my patients out in our community and realizing that I played a part in their brilliant smiles. When we see patients who can 't stop smiling, we know we 've accomplished our goal.'
Dr. Neil completed his orthodontic residency at Tufts University and has since gone through the rigorous testing process to distinguish himself as a board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontists.

I just started Invisalign with Dr. Neil and he and his staff are really great. The office is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The front desk staff is super friendly and accommodating. The staff is energetic and efficient. Dr. Neil really knows his stuff -he is patient, kind and detailed in his explanations. They recently took over this office and their reviews were so good from their existing locations that I decided to have a consult. I checked several other orthodontists in the area and felt rushed or limited in my options. Dr. Neil spent a lot of time with me and it made me feel so comfortable. I am really happy that I chose this office!

I have been a customer at the orthodontist for many years. I went from completely splayed teeth to a clean, even smile. Dr. Talebian does great work. She is efficient and professional!

Dr. Talebian does a remarkable job at assessing, explaining and executing her plan to straighten teeth. My family is so pleased with the results stemming from the work she and her staff have done on my children's teeth - one complete and one looking forward to getting her braces off soon:)

Excellent orthodontist. Always on time and accomodating. Knowledgable staff. I had an overbite, and my teeth in general were a mess. After two years, I had my braces removed. I still can't believe my smile. I am in awe with the compliments I have received. I feel like a different person. Thank You Dr. T!!!
