Dr. Diana Esshaki practices in both the Beverly and Topsfield locations and is a native of Massachusetts. She's both attended and taught at Boston University, UMass, Tufts University and is proud to be from the Boston area.
Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil are orthodontists, and they were dentists first. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six go on to become orthodontists. To practice orthodontics, Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency).
Orthodontic students spend three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. You want an expert to give you a new smile-not from aligners you get in the mail.
Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires exert a continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.
We use sleek, smooth brackets such as American Orthodontics Mini Masters Series metal brackets and 3M Clarity Advanced ceramic braces. Both options feature a low profile design that's both more comfortable and less noticeable.

Dr. Diana Esshaki grew up in Brookline, MA. She earned her BA from Boston University in Classical Civilization and Biology. Next, she received her Master of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
For four years, Dr. Diana served on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she supervised dental students' training in oral health care management of the medically complex patient population.
Getting to know our patients and their families is also rewarding. I love seeing my patients out in our community and realizing that I played a part in their brilliant smiles. When we see patients who can 't stop smiling, we know we 've accomplished our goal.'
Dr. Neil completed his orthodontic residency at Tufts University and has since gone through the rigorous testing process to distinguish himself as a board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontists.

I started my adult ortho journey with Dr Talabian, and continued my care with Dr Neil and Dr Diana when they took over the practice. What an upgrade! The entire team are kind, professional, empathetic, and FUN! My previous ortho plan was deficient and after being in braces for 2 years, Dr Neil and Dr Diana were very personable when they told me I still needed another 12-18 months to finish. They continued my care at no cost, did everything in their power to expedite my plan, and were so encouraging and enthusiastic about my progress at every check up. I'm actually sad to have my braces removed because I don't get to see them anymore! You won't find a better ortho care team!

My daughter is a new patient at New England Orthodontic Specialists. She is very particular when it comes to medical care staff. She absolutely adores the office. She gets excited every time she attends an appointment. Before we leave the office she is asking about her next appointment. The office is spotless. The staff is absolutely amazing. The Dr. is the sweetest women ever. :) Such an amazing office. Great group of staff all around.

Dr. Neill and his staff did an amazing job of having my daughter, Grace feel at ease and comfortable with the process of getting braces. After her consultation, she was excited and looking forward to getting braces. They explained the process to her and what to expect, and answered any questions she had. They are also very responsive. My daughter had a bracket loose and when i called to inquire they were able to get us in immediately and take care of it. I would highly recommend New England Orthodontic Specialists.

We just started our journey with Dr. Neil! And had first appointment and so far - so good! The staff is nice snd friendly! Doctors are very knowledgeable and skillful! And what is new- they have a honoring system- that is total fun for kids, when they should earn points by brushing teeth and wearing all the devices properly! Then they will earn prices! Isn't it motivating? ! I reccomend this place , it's conveniently locates in Beverly and Topsfield!

Amazing!!! I would give 100 stars if I could! From the front desk answering the phone, the office staff, assistants and especially Dr. Diana. I had the most wonderful experience. Everyone was very kind, professional and caring. Dr. Diana is by far the most intelligent, caring and gentle doctor. She is very passionate about her work which shows in her attention to detail. She is very patient and takes the time to explain what needs to be done. I am so grateful to have been referred here. This is the only place to go for any and all orthodontic needs.

Dr. Neil is not only a fantastic orthodontist but he's a great person! He's always so cheerful and my kids love going there. He is very transparent and informative and explains everything so well and my son really listens and follows his advice. My son had an issue when the office was technically closed and Dr Neil returned my call right away and then made a special arrangement to see him within 24 hours! He goes above and beyond and we are so happy we chose them as our family orthodontist.

My daughter and son both go to NE Orthodontics. We have utilized both the topsfield and Beverly office. The staff in both offices is helpful courteous and responsive. The orthodontists are great and both my kids have commented on how nice they are. The offices are very clean, the waiting rooms are nice and we have had no trouble getting appointments for the occasional broken wire, etc. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for Invisalign! I just finished my Invisalign treatment here and I am so happy with the results! The whole process took about a year and throughout the entire time I always felt like the staff and Dr. Diana wanted the best for my smile. You can tell that they really care about their patients and they want to make sure you get the perfect smile that you pay for! I can't say enough about the office--everyone from the front desk staff to the assistants to Dr. Diana herself was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. As a side note, I think the prices are also very fair--I was quoted $1,000 more for Invisalign treatment at my dental practice (which I was fully willing to pay until someone suggested I try to get a second quote). In the end, I paid less money and received great, high-quality care! I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for orthodontic treatment.

We started treatment several years ago with Dr. Sozanski and continued with Dr. Diana and Dr. Neil when they took over the practice. My daughter has a very complex case and all of the doctors have handled her situation with care and guided us every step of the way. I don't think it was until we recently began exploring transitioning her due to an out of state move that we truly appreciated the level of care, empathy and kindness that were being delivered by New England Orthodontics. My daughter feels so connected to Dr. Diana and has had such a supportive experience with this practice. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for board certified orthodontists on the North Shore of Boston.
