I had my four wisdom teeth removed today. Doctor Glosser, Josh, and the others that helped me were so kind. I was very anxious pre-procedure but everyone was so sweet and supportive of me and they guided me through everything, right up through when Josh administered my anesthesia. My procedure went really well. As far as wisdom tooth extraction goes, this was a really good experience. I would completely recommend this practice. Thank you all so much!

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My nurse was super nice and knew that I was anxious, she made me comfortable and well informed. Doctor was funny and empathetic. I would definitely go back!!!

Dr lesney should not have a practice. He hit my lower lingual nerve after taking 13 min to extract 4 impacted wisdom teeth. He is a joke!!!! Run , find a good doctor that isn't money hungry!

After waiting for 2 years for an extraction because of Covid - I was rescheduled two times. Finally, on the day of my appointment I traveled the hour drive only to receive a phone call from my children'a school explaining they had been exposed and needed to be picked up. I didn't call until later that day and when I called back to reschedule my appointment I was told they couldn't see me ever again because I didn't show up for my appointment. Thanks, guys. I'll just continue to pop ibuprofen and wait longer. Awesome.

I went in to have my top teeth extracted. I was full of anxiety. But I did choose not to be put under. The staff there was great and put me at ease. Lets face it getting teeth pulled is not a fun thing but these guys did a great job. It could not have gone any better. Highly recommended. Thank you guys !!!

Had a wonderful experience with my wisdom teeth removal. The staff is smart, friendly, and welcoming. I felt no pressure to do any surgery I didn't wanted to do, but ended up having all four teeth out. The nurses and doctors answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. The experience was painless and quick. I don't know if it was my situation or what, but the aftercare was a breeze. There was almost no swelling or pain. I didn't even have to take OTC pain relievers after the surgery. Everyone at NEOS did a wonderful job and I would go back to them for any other work I need.

It was easy to schedule an appointment at New England Oral Surgery, and the staff is friendly. However, my experience once I left the waiting room was unprofessional. Prior to my wisdom teeth removal I was crowded by 4 staff members trying to get an anesthetic IV into my arms, after some stabbing by all four of them, the surgeon came in and joking remarked, "We need to put this guy out." While I understand the attempted friendliness of the staff, my confidence was not won over. I didn't expect my post-surgery experience to be pleasant, but I didn't expect to be rushed out the door. I was told to leave after about 5 minutes from waking, with a receipt and instructions to go to CVS to get Tylenol and Advil and to alternate doses every 3 hours. I was not prescribed any medications, and was told I wouldn't need it. There was no, "But.." The week following my surgery was extremely painful. This is to be expected, and it was not a surprise. However, I was not able to function in my daily experience. Advil and Tylenol didn't touch the pain in my mouth. For 7 days I pretty much sat on the couch with ice packs on my face. Non-stop. I had called multiple times for advice and was told, "this is just a part of the process." Obviously. I had 4 holes in my mouth, of course I was in pain. This pain was significant, and as I mentioned, I was unable to function outside of icing my face. Pain peaked on days 3-7. After 1 week I contacted the emergency doctor about my pain, significant swelling and discharge. I was prescribed a low dose of tramadol (a pain medication) and antibiotics. Upon taking these medications I was able to function normally and over a few days the swelling went down substantially. I was livid that I had to put my life on hold for a week and to experience the pain when I could've gone about my daily routine. I didn't feel high or unlike myself while taking the tramadol. I was simply able to function as I normally would. My pain and "loss" of an entire week could've been remedied by a simple prescription, or at least the option. When I asked prior to my surgery I was brushed off with, "You won't need it." While everyone likely experiences different levels of discomfort following surgery, I think it is rather unprofessional to make general assumptions for all patients. There was no mention of follow-up appointments. No check-ins. No contact from NEOS. I went in, had my teeth pulled, and was sent on my way five minutes after waking. If you are concerned about the pain you will experience from a wisdom teeth removal; if you are worried about potential complications following your surgery; or if you are hoping for a staff that is professional and attentive, I would not recommend New England Oral Surgery. I understand the hesitancy to prescribe pain medications with the rise of pain medication overprescription in the last decade, however I believe the opposite end of the spectrum is also unacceptable. As I mentioned the pain medication I was prescribed was 50mg of tramadol, taken on an appropriate schedule laid out by the emergency doctor. There was no ill side effects of the medication besides a realization that I could've been functioning normally and not experiencing 7-8/10 pain for a week. A relative of mine has also had a negative experience at NEOS. Pain medication was also withheld until dry-socket occurred in all 4 of the wisdom teeth removal sites. I would not recommend New England Oral Surgery, and rate it 1 out of 5 stars based on the unprofessional behavior in the surgery room, the incompetency to put in an IV, the lack of communication and instruction post-surgery, and the brushing off of my pain experience. Pain experiences are very individual, and while not everyone will need, or should be prescribed pain medication, the option should be available to all patients depending on their own post-surgery experience. Also, I believe some sort of follow-up or contact should have been pre-scheduled or made by NEOS in case of a potential infection or complication.

Both clerical and clinical staff at NEOS are very knowledgeable and professional. If you need your wisdom teeth removed I highly recommend Dr Lesny, as I've had no issues since the surgery. What was originally a stressful situation became much smoother thanks to their insight and skill. Thank you!

I was so nervous to get my wisdom teeth out. I was scared of the surgery itself and whether or not I'd be ok. Everyone here made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe. I would recommend anyone that has to get their wisdom teeth removed to go here!

I was traveling through the area, and one of my wisdom teeth finally "let go." They made space for me and took care of me within two hours. I highly recommend and appreciate the professionalism and customer service exemplified here.
