Dr. Margarita Panajoti has been with the practice for over sixteen years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Albania. and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
She is a certified Specialist in Invisalign, CEREC, and whitening techniques, along with Mercer/ExperDent Certification for Leadership in Dentistry. Dr. Panajotis memberships include the American Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the CEREC Study Club. In addition, she supports Doctors without Borders and is fluent in English, Albanian, Italian, and Greek.
Affectionately know as Doctor P. to many, Dr. Panajoti has graced our practice from its beginnings in 1999. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Panajoti has advanced training in implant placement and restorations.
Her professional philosophy? Do nothing less than the best for each individual patient. This isnt always as simple as it sounds, she explains, adding: but its well worth the effort. Its our job to help each patient make the right decisions by educating them and carefully explaining all their optionsincluding the pros and cons of each. Dr. Panajoti also insists on continual self-education, its vital to keep up with the ever-improving technological innovations and treatment methodologies.
Dr. Panajoti lives in Southborough with her husband and business partner, Gokulan, their two sons, Theodore and Alexander, and their golden retrievers, Casey and Oliver. She enjoys reading, traveling, and her spending time with her family.
As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, wearing face masks has become commonplace for many individuals. While masks are important for staying healthy right now, they can also have a negative effect on certain habits that help us maintain good oral health. In an interview with WCVB Channel 5 in Boston, Dr. Margarita Panajoti explained that face masks are causing certain behavioral changes, like breathing through the mouth more and not drinking water as often. As a result, the mouth tends to be drier throughout the day, which can encourage bacterial growth.

He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Ghazi earned his Bachelor of Science from the Boston University School of Dentistry. He then moved on to obtain his Masters Degree from the New Jersey Dental School, where he also received special clinical training in periodontics and dental implants.

It gives me tremendous satisfaction to help my patients achieve gorgeous smiles, he says. However, their overall health is of equal importance. I am determined to make sure each patient is glowing with beautiful health inside and out.
Dr. Ghazi enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children, as well as playing squash, soccer, and swimming. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and also serves on the faculty at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, where he teaches clinical periodontics and dental implants to post-graduate residents.

10/12/22 - I had a routine cleaning today. It was very thorough. Maryam is very gentle and she used a digital scanner that gave a accurate picture of my teeth and the degree of wear and tear on them, (occlusion?) And after the cleaning Dr. Dacci came in to give me a status report and explain what I want to think about for the future. I have some vulnerable teeth. This is why I buy into the dental savings plan NEDG offers. My cleanings are included in that. It's worth it. They take very God care of me. On 10/20/2020 I had 1 extraction and 2 sinus lifts. At that time I was going to get 4 upper molars, 2 on ea side. So we did a bone graft and 2 surgical placements for tooth #3 and #4 . Dr. Ghazi made it seem easy but you know it's not. He is a highly skilled surgeon behind a casual demeanor. During the healing period I had one side I could eat on. 3/9/2021 changed plan. Decided to do 2 lower molars under the 2 uppers recently placed. So once again I received a bone graft and 2 implant placements. Very good care and attention to details. Surgery went quick and again Dr. Ghazzi made it seem so easy. He was quick efficient and painless. Just had a cleaning. I'm on the dental savings plan New England Dental Group offers so it covers my cleanings as well as discounts on all services. Michael is extremely competent. He explained the method he was using and was concerned with my comfort. I give New England Dental Group A+ also there was no wait. 6/1/2021 Dr. Daci takes over. The surgery is done and the artistry begins. She will make my new teeth. She took impressions up and down, digital and physical and if there was any doubt she did it again. It was a long appt but these are going to be my permanent teeth. Better to measure twice and cut once. 7/6/2021 I just finished my implant apptointment; got my new teeth, 2 upper molars and 2 lower molars. Dr. Daci indeed is an Implant Expert. She took great care at every step to insure a perfect outcome. All the while concerned for my comfort. Her technician, Nancy, also showed tremendous expertise with the very high tech equipment they have at NEDG and her focus on me and the job at hand leaving no room for error. I had complete confidence in this whole team throughout the entire operation. From the very beginning of formulating the plan, to changes that came to light during the work, right up to the finishing touches and of course my continued maintenance. As I stated above I am a member of NEDG's Dental Savings Plan because of my history of gum disease and significant bone loss. It's worth it. They truly did give me my smile back. I thought I had lost it forever. One more short piece to complete the smile. I need a small appliance to fill in for 2 teeth. The Doctor called it a flipper. So Nancy went to work on a new impression of my new mouth and in 3 wks I go back for my flipper. Great job everyone at New England Dental Group. You are a World Class Team! 8/30/22 - had a problem with gums around an Implant. I called NEDG and they got me in next morning. They took x-rays to check the tooth, which was fine. Dr. Dacci cleaned the area and said food was stuck in the pocket outside the tooth. My water pick was on the blink for about a wk and now I realize how important it is. Dr. D. gave instructions on how to clean area and tighten gum line. I appreciated the fast service and because I'm on the saving plan with NEDG it did not cost anything. Thanks Again Dr. Dacci and all the crew at NEDG.

I would like to take a minute to share my very positive feelings about NEW ENGLAND DENTAL GROUP. I have been a patient for over 10 years and cannot say enough about the high level of dental care that I have received on a regular basis including yesterdays 6 month cleaning, X-rays and exam. Over these years I have had a considerable amount of restorative dentistry; and, the quality and bedside manor has been nothing but of the highest caliber. NO CAVITIES AGAIN! I feel like I have a partner in the care of my teeth because I receive follow-up calls after treatment and also periodic reminders about the importance of preventative maintenance. Cleanings and preventative maintenance are paying off and I am so happy to have a partner in that. I would be happy to share my dental file with anyone interested in the living proof of my experiences with New England Dental. I am certain you would be impressed. I am over 60 yo and have been to several different dentists over the years, none of which get the "A+" rating that New England Dental has earned.
