New Dimensions in Health Care (NDHC) has been a part of the Amsterdam, NY community for almost 24 years. We are proud to say, that since 1996, our health center has offered high-quality dental and medical services to patients of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Daily, our team of professionals strives to give our patients caring, individualized treatment. Our medical staff believes that establishing these meaningful, quality connections help to achieve several objectives: a reduction in potential stressful office visits; cultivates a bond between doctor and patient and sets up life-long healthy habits.
When established in 1996, the health centers primary focus was to provide dental care as well as limited health services to the special needs population served by Liberty ARC in Montgomery and surrounding counties. Throughout the years the health centers services have grown due to the lack of local providers accepting Medicaid-eligible, uninsured and under insured patients; ensuring our patients and the communitys needs were meet.
New Dimensions in Health Care is an approved Article 28 diagnostic and treatment clinic licensed and overseen by the New York State Department of Health. NDHC also cares for patients that with no insurance and those who are under insured, providing these patients with a sliding scale fee that is reduced for individuals with the inability to pay full price for their medical care.
Were proud of our dental practice roots; a deep history of providing years of quality service to thousands of patients to ensure they are pain free and have healthy smiles. Currently, our patient base is comprised of special needs patients (the population that NDHC was formed to serve) and low income Medicaid-eligible, uninsured and underinsured patients. There has been a significant growth in services to the low income population at NDHC, beginning in 2004 when the health center added two additional dental operatories, and then again in 2007 when NDHC began accepting managed Medicaid coverage.
New Dimensions in Health Care is dedicated to continuously looking for methods to improve our patients office visits and overall daily health. Our three dentists: Dr. Vuotto, Dr. Mori and Dr. Mukherjee share this philosophy as well as the dental center staff.
In 2017, NDHC expanded Primary Care Services to full-time through a Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) grant received by the Alliance for Better Healthcare. The purpose of the DSRIP program is to transform the delivery of health care for Medicaid and uninsured patients. In order to assist in meeting this DSRIP goal, NDHC expanded its services and now has a medical provider on staff and available to patients of all ages, Monday through Friday.
Our full-time family nurse practitioner, Tracy Kuban, is here to care for the entire family. Whether you just welcomed a new little one into the family, or youre caring for an ailing parent/grandparent, Tracys compassionate, exceptional medical care is unmatched in the community. Tracy makes every effort to effectively care for her patients during office visits but is also genuinely interested in their ongoing health outside of the office as well.

My daughter recently had her best friend stay with us for the summer. She was in desperate need of dental care as her parents were not able to offer her the care she needed. Being a teenager she was very self conscious about her smile. Her dental needs were visible. New Dimensions understood her needs and the difficult situation she was in. Dr. Mori opened up her schedule to accommodate her in a very quick fashion. Dr. Mori was very compassionate about the situation. In one appointment Dr. Mori made the restorations needed along with a cleaning and a full checkup. I can not say enough about the kind and accommodating nature of the whole New Dimensions staff. Hats off to Dr. Mori for her compassion and skill. My daughter's friend was elated about her new smile. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I had a filling Monday the 12th. Dr Hoppe did the filling. I found out that this was his first Day at New Dimensions. He and his Dental assistant,Toni worked like a team that had been together for years ! Professional and Knowlegable. When I need dental work again it will be a pleasure to see them Both .

I waited 6 months for an appointment when I showed up they told me they could no longer accept new patients. Extremely unprofessional. They agreed to see me as an emergency but did absolutely nothing besides charge my insurance. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS OFFICE

I was turned away by the lady at the front desk. since they are not accepting any new patients after being referred to them by a dr. Also ask anyone every time you call .. everyday for a week for hours the lines always busy. Last time I was there years ago they did minimal cleaning

Dr. Mori, Toni and Sherri are absolutely fantastic!! I always have a great time. They make you feel like part of their family. I really enjoy my visits here. For the first time in my life, I enjoy going to a dentist office! Thank you so much for making my dentistry so much fun! Keep up the Great work!!!

My son has been going to New Dimensions for quite some time. He is always treated well and loves all of the staff, they are so friendly and helpful. He never gives me a difficult time about going. So thankful that they take such good care of him!!

Staff is very caring and attentive to your needs and concerns and Dr.Kuban is awesome always checks in and follows up haven't had that type attention and care for that I'm very grateful to have her as my doctor

I am not very happy that it is said with new dimension, 2 days ago I called for Dr. Tracy to see my son who was sick and I called and they took information from me about the symptoms and the secretary told me that she would call me to bring him when Dr. Tracy told him to bring him and it is still time that I have not received a call so that they at least ask how my son is doing, because I have decided to change DR for the reason that they do not want to see sick patients in their office now I wonder what kind of doctor is that? I never thought they were like that, I changed my doctor because I like the way Tracy is but I see that I was wrong and it is very unfortunate, I am very sorry little by little she will lose her patients

Dr Tracy is our family's care physician, and she's such a great lady along with her staff they always get the job done whatever my families needs may be. especially when it comes to my daughter Isabella that has lots of special needs and that needs a special DR in her life we are truly blessed to have such a great DR to turn to when we're in need of health care . I started bringing my special needs son here (after at least 7other dentist in the past ) right in the middle of this Covid so I was nervous overall now to add new people and mask over an hour drive etc all I have to say is they are amazing! Sherri took the extra step to make my son Alize feel comfortable in every way. So when his next appointment came up he couldn't wait to go and it went even better than the first time Sherri remembered him and gave him the same wonderful treatment she truly is amazing with my son I can't thank her enough This will be our forever dentist so ty so much

Is a good place but scheduling sucks if u need to reschedule is a 3 to 4 month of waiting by the time i need a filling done ( fix cavities) i need another cleaning and i never get the work done then you go and they ask u, why u waited so long to fix the problem? Well the answer is the way the facility schedule the appointments and the employees in the desk " yes, if we have and opening we reach out to u" the only time u can go quick is if ur in pain! Then u are a priority. Like i said is not a bad place I love the staff there but the way the schedule is set up is horrible.

Don't ever use this dentistry, terrible service from the people answering the phones, I had two dental appointments setup with them and they call me last minute the day of to tell me that the dentist isn't in and the appointment is canceled, ask for a referral to go get some other dental work done and good luck with that you'll have to call and hound them to get anything because they will not get back to you. Called me the day before a dentist appointment to confirm it I told them I would be there so long as the dentist is, they assured me the dentist would be there.... Not to my surprise they call me the next day, the day of my appointment to tell me the dentist isn't there.. how lovely, been waiting months for these people and still no work has been done DO NOT RECOMMEND

Honestly, they aren't much help and send you for the wrong things... I had a rib pain and they send me for an ultrasound on my stomach as if I was pregnant? Ask for certain xrays to be done, send me for the wrong ones. Gotta call just to be seen..... might as well just go to the emergency room , it's literally right down the street. Dr.Raos is better for kids than new dimensions. They wanna be doctors and nurses but don't want to see certain patience

We have been going to New Dimensions now 13 years and we love it here. We see Sherri and she is an amazing dental assistant. She is sweet, kind, understanding, and does amazing work! We also love the dentists here..Dr. Mori is spectacular. I highly recommend this office.
