Dr.Rebecca Sonick grew up in Fairfield, CT and graduated magnacum laudefrom ConnecticutCollegein New London. She achieved her D.D.S. from the University of Texas,where shewasawardedfor her work in Periodontics. She completeda General Practice Residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, where she received additionaltraining in dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, dental implants, endodontics, TMJ Dysfunction, and the management of medically complex patients.Dr. Sonick attended the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she focused on TMJ and Smile Design.
Dr. Sonickis a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association,theAmerican Academy of Periodontology,the Fairfield County Dental Club, andisa committee member for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Highly recommended! I had been to several practices, receiving conflicting diagnoses and complex treatment proposals. Thankfully, a friend directed me to Dr. Paul Harbottle at New Canaan Dentistry for an additional opinion. The entire experience was first class: the staff is attentive and cordial, the facility is modern and clean, and the doctors are caring, patient, professional, and talented. No runaround, snap judgements, or sales pitches; just good, honest, conservative dentistry. Dr. H. and his colleagues proposed and performed a much more practical and less invasive course of treatment, helping me avoid untold and unnecessary pain and expense. Thanks to all!

I had an emergency with my tooth at 350pm on a Friday. I have never been a patient before but because of the close proximity to my new home I was hopeful. I called and a beyond lovely kind woman named Lisa said to come in at 415pm just minutes later which I was already shocked they so nicely said yes please come (and EOD Friday and again never before patient). I went in and my tooth basically came out in the Doctors hand and I was so upset and bothered. Well the wonderful dental assistant Sasha took all the xrays of my mouth all the while literally smiling at me and holding my hands helping to soothe how anxious I was. Doctor Harbottle sat down and got to work right away and had me fixed up and feeling better in under an hour. I cannot say enough great things about this dental visit / office / team / experience. I have additional appointments there and will be a life long patient at this office. Just WOW. Lisa, Sasha, Dr. Harbottle I literally love you all.

The best of the best! He has resurrected my mouth and made it beautiful. He has kept me from having false teeth and the workmanship he provides, along with the lab work, turns out wonderful looking and lasting teeth. He is truly a perfectionist and the many clients he's taken care of will agree. The whole staff is great!!!

Dr. Harbottle is Great (& way more handsome than his photos) Having had the same dentist for 37 years, I never imagined I could find a dentist I trusted as much to protect my teeth and gum health. Dr. Harbottle is highly skilled, pleasant to visit (and charming to boot, with a lovely British accent). He employs (and makes sure he is on top of) all of the cutting edge techniques to help me effortlessly manage my dental hygiene, including a short course of Invisalign to ensure my future periodontal health. A dazzling smile was just a collateral benefit.;-) I highly recommend Dr. Harbottle and his pleasant competent staff to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

Dr Harbottle is the only dentist I am looking forward to visit. He is very professional and kind. I am quite afraid of the dentist and was always late for my check ups until now. Dr Harbottle and his team offer great advise, are on top of new techniques, and never make you feel bad from not flossing as often as one should... My teeth have never looked better! Not only Dr Harbottle is the best dentist I have ever encountered but all his staff are all equally good and friendly. Cannot recommend enough!

Dr. Harbottle is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. Not even close. He's friendly, he's talented, he's interesting, and he has helped me a LOT. His team, Lisa & co, equally wonderful. If you are looking for a dentist in the area - do not go anywhere else. Paul Harbottle is THE MAN.

I saw Dr. Rebecca Sonick, at New Canaan Dentistry for a new crown. I am a retired physician and I'm very tuned into professionalism and patient care. Dr. Sonick, and her team excelled in this. Dr. Sonick, took time to explain why I needed the crown and showed me my x-rays and digital photos that helped me understand the reason. She and her team are also respectful of each other and work together. Hygienist Susan and Asha are knowledgable as well. Very positive experience.

I would challenge anyone to find a better dentist in CT, NY or the rest of the country for that matter. Dr Paul Harbottle has an uncanny ability to put you at ease, providing a level of comfort that he has your situation, however daunting, covered. He is incredibly accessible sharing his cell phone for emergencies, and Lisa/supporting staff is also very responsive and helpful. Couldn't recommend the good doctor in a higher regard. I had a wonderful experience with Susan and Dr. Sonick. The office was neat, orderly, and the staff amiable. Susan's cleaning was gentle yet extremely thorough. Dr. Sonick was kind and accommodating, and explained everything in a clear, concise manner. Looking forward to my next visit!

I have been a patient at this office since moving to New Canaan 5 years ago, and I could not be happier with Dr. Harbottle and his whole office staff. Right now I am an Invisalign patient, as my teeth have shifted significantly over the years. I am extremely satisfied with this product, and the care I have gotten from Doctor Harbottle. In one week I was able to visually see a change in my teeth. Now, midway through the treatment, I am in awe of how good my teeth look and how much easier it is for me to maintain good dental hygiene. I can't stop smiling in every mirror I see. Thank you!

Been going to Dr. Paul Harbottle for many years. He is an amazing dentist as I would highly recommend him!! This highly skilled dentist has been a lifesaver for me on multiple occasions!!
