Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

I am very pleased with the treatment that I received on Monday the 3rd of this month. As the moment I arrived I was welcomed by two very beautiful cheerful women one helped me check in she was very helpful. Exray person explained everything as well very all very professional and then the dentist and his assistant oh my goodness I couldn't have not been so pleased they explained everything and buy the time I new it two molars extratered and stiches and one filling. No blessing no pain. Thank you Jesus AMEN. I'm coming back from the rest of my treatment I highly recommend this dentist I can't spell his name. Just call his office and make an appointment. If you don't have insurance they will work with you don't hesitate just call

Great staff. Dr. Lopez is so caring and friendly, you almost WANT to go to the dentist! Seriously, she is very, very good at her profession and I have zero doubts about the care I receive. Highly recommended!!!

I'm new to the area, was referred by insurance company. I called to get my teeth cleaned. The first thing they did was take a complete series of X-rays, then I was told they were short on dental hygienist and would not be able to clean teeth today. They reviewed X-rays and did a gum check for periodontal disease. Then they told me I would need periodontal cleaning instead of normal cleaning. The cost after insurance was $745 which is not affordable for me right now. So I left and did not get teeth cleaned which is what I was there for. Haven't got bill yet for all those X-rays. I'll be looking for another provider.

Took my daughter in for some deep cavities. Everyone on the team was super nice. From check-in (the online check in is easy) with the girls at the front; to the dental assistants. Dr. Krantz explained everything and was super gentle, I highly recommended him if you are looking for a dentist in the area

Straight forward appointment. Check-in, wait, and are usually seen at or close to your appointment time. The reception staff are welcoming. The dental team are quick, thorough, and knowledgeable. Smooth experience.

I was surprised to receive the excellent care, treatment, and wonderful personalities from all the team members. I was worried I was walking into a dental chain like Monarch, which we all know is horrible. For someone like me who has an irrational fear of dental work, they all made me feel like I was one of their family members and eased my panic. Myself and my family will be using NB Modern Dentistry as our ONLY place for our dental needs. I have already made three future appointments and have made a couple of referrals. This Google 5 star review is well deserved and I do not give many 5 stars out! I cannot express my gratitude enough to the overall customer service, treatment, fun environment (rare at a dentist office) and financial affordability! NB Modern Dentistry rocks!

They had me all nervous about a new treatment I was going to get for my gums. I was nervous they were going to numb my whole mouth for a deep clean. But the numbing was so good I didn't feel a thing! It was a numbing gel, so no shots! Best cleaning experience I've ever had.

The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family... would highly recommend to anyone!!! The staff was very helpful and Dr. Krantz was honest and straight forward. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money. So it was a relief to find a dentist with integrity. His assistants Jennifer, Meredith, and Crystal are all very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were absolutely fantastic. Lisa the office manager was very accommodating getting me scheduled and working with my insurance to maximize my benefits. I highly recommend to anyone in the New Braunfels area!!

Dr. Robert Krantz is a phenomenal dentist. I have always been hesitant and nervous for any type of dental procedures, and I can say with confidence , Dr. Krantz has eliminated all my concerns or fears. With his extensive knowledge he has always been able to quickly identify my problems and provide me with the most effective treatment plan. He has educated me on all my diagnosis, treatments, and my preventative care. Dr. Krantz has demonstrated he is committed to learning and staying at the forefront of the dental industry by staying up to date on the latest innovations in dental technology and incorporating new techniques and equipment into his practice and patients. And for someone like me, who's feared dentist/dental procedures for years , leaves me with peace and relief. Dr. Krantz is compassionate, honest, professional, and very welcoming, along with his staff and assistants. So I went in and it was great. The people was great but my partial denture wasn't. I blame the lab they used. I give it a 4 star cause they were fun and nice and did a great job. It was the partial denture that cause them to get 4 and not five. I want a smile that looks great. I got a smile that is okay. I had to do some fixing with my own resin to cover the gap that the dentures had. Now I have a great and satisfying smile.

No doubt Dr. Krantz is the best I've ever had. I have beyond anxiety with dentist, don't like them, back up. But he's so chill and makes you feel comfortable. Best Dental place I'll ever go to. Great staff all round.

I found this practice to be unprofessional. The Dr, rather than finding out the problem with a crown they put on, tried to give me a very strong medication. The crown has never fit right, does not meet the gum line and has given me pain for over 3 months. I am now sitting and waiting for a root canal on this tooth at another dentist office.
