Dr. Colton Albrecht grew up in the small town of Clifton, Texas just outside of Waco. Growing up, he spent most of his summers here locally tubing the comal river and spending summers with his family at their condo here in New Braunfels. As a young boy he had many talents, but it was easy to see that he would be gifted in a career that allowed him to use his good qualities of being detail-oriented and a true perfectionist - which is the art and precision of dentistry. Dr. Albrecht is eager to welcome you and your loved ones into our practice, and you can start getting to know him below.
After graduating from Texas Tech, Dr. Albrecht enrolled in the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. Even though he has his dental degree, his education has never truly stopped. Since leaving school, he has become certified to provide nitrous oxide sedation, oral conscious sedation, Invisalign, and he has also completed a dental implant pathway continuum course. Today, he is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Albrecht likes to spend a lot of his free time going down to his familys ranch in Clifton, his hometown where his father still runs a pharmacy and his mother works as a pharmacist in the retirement/assisted living facility. He met his fianc, Kymber, while at Texas Tech, and they enjoy going hunting, fishing, and wake surfing on Canyon Lake. When you come to our office, youll likely meet his black lab, River, who serves as a therapy dog, and at home, he has a golden retriever puppy named Rane. Dr. Albrecht is also an avid travelerhe spent a year in Southeast Asia and Australia before starting dental school.

I had my first visit today at NB Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and it was a great experience. The office is very clean and I was greeted at the desk by the kind staff and River, the office dog. The staff handled getting my records from my previous dentist and getting me all checked in. I did not have to wait long and was taken back to get x-rays, pictures, and a cleaning. The staff were busy; however, I noticed great teamwork and all the ladies were so awesome and welcoming to me! Dr. Albrecht did a thorough exam and answered all my questions. My teeth feel great and I am excited to have found a new dental office that I love!

I have nothing but great things to say about NBFAC. Our family gets treated so well here starting from the office staff on up. We get prompt and friendly service everytime. Dr. Albreicht is professional and keeps us well informed. All our dental procedures have been executed exceptionally well. Brittany is our dental hygienist and she's terrific. Our 4 year old daughter also loves coming to see everyone especially River.

My regular dentist wasn't going to be able to get me in for a cleaning until 2023, so I decided to try the New Braunfels Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, they were able to get me in super fast and I had a great experience, staff was friendly and explained everything they did in detail, will be making them my new primary dentist!

Welp after not visiting the dentist 3+years i feared the heck out of dentists is literally my kryptonite. Brittany did my xray and cleaning and did an awesome job she was very gentle and luckily no cavities. Great peeps at thr office, great ac/dc music playing will totally be going on a routine visit this time. :)
