Very nice and clean office. Everyone there was very nice and helped our nervous toddler. The only thing that I didn't like was the "prizes" that they give the kids on the way out. Very cheap and generic!

I typically do not take the time to leave reviews (negative or positive), but this office upset me so bad that I felt like I needed to. I will start off by saying I am thankful that my child (5 years old) did not have any major issues the past 2 visits of procedures, but the staff is lacking in professionalism, and they WAY OVERBOOK their appointment times. The first visit my son had there a few weeks ago was for 1 filling, and 1 crown. We were referred here by our family dentist because they offer nitrous oxide and our family dentist does not. Our wait time in the waiting room was short, but once we got to the actual procedure room and the nitrous was started and the lidocaine was given we waited an EXTENDED amount of time. I would say upwards of 40-45 minutes for the dentist to actually come in to do his procedure. For an adult, or for one of my older kids it would not have been a big deal, but for my 5 year old he could not understand to swallow his saliva while numb and laid there aspirating his saliva, and coughing the entire time. I brushed off that appointment as maybe they were short staffed, or maybe another appointment ran long, but we had the exact same experience today. I mentioned my concerns to the dental assistant that was waiting in the room with us, and she got very rude with me. When I mentioned my son continuously choking and nearing vomiting she was quick to say "he wouldn't be breathing if he was actually choking." She was also fast to say they couldn't help it because they had other patients to take care of. Bedside manner is HUGE to me when it comes to working with my kiddos, and we will likely look for a different pediatric dentist office who actually has a compassionate staff.

I couldn't ask for a better group to take care of my daughter. She had a really bad infected tooth, Dr. Jenna and Jamie came in at 8:30 p.m. and took care of my daughter's tooth because she had so much pain and swelling. This is such an awesome and caring practice.

If you want to schedule an appointment just to have them close early and not have the courtesy to call and let you know, this is the place for you.

I took my five year old son in today for a cleaning. He has experienced some fear of the dentist in the past. However, once he met Ms. Allie his worries were washed away. I cannot thank her enough! She made the entire experience so smooth and pleasant for my little guy. She was patient, kind, and calm and reassured him every step of the way. Thank you so much Ms. Allie and the entire staff at New Albany Pediatric Dentistry for being so AMAZING!

I don't like giving reviews, especially bad ones, but this was a horrible experience, and won't be back. It's upsetting, and just not right, when your child is crying and yelling that there's pain; and the dentist just continues to pull teeth out, while saying it's only pressure. And when a parent and child are both upset, and asked for the 2nd parent to come in, the dentist's only concern was about having more than one parent in at a time. How compassionate is that? Then after it was over, she proceeded to say that a lot of people get put out for this; REALLY?!!! That would've been nice to know BEFORE we came for his appointment. Fyi, this was for an extraction of 4 teeth.

Today was our first time visiting New Albany Pediatric Dentistry. I was beyond impressed! My 7 year old loved playing video games in the waiting room and being able to watch a movie during his service. The staff was extremely professional and kind. Dr. Katie did an excellent job of explaining everything as she was working and made my son feel comfortable. Highly recommend this practice and will be scheduling all of my children's dental appointments here from now on.

Fantastic experience today at New Albany Pediatric Dentistry! Can not praise them enough! We took both kids in at the same time (ages 2 & 4). Our oldest had been to the dentist before but it was never a great experience and the staff never made her feel at ease. Because of this we hadn't brought our youngest to the dentist yet, but we've been wanting them to become familiar with going to the dentist. I saw New Albany Pediatric Dentistry driving home one day and after reading reviews and their website, decided to give them a call. From the moment we walked in everyone was welcoming and professional. The front desk staff was very helpful and filling paperwork out was a breeze. When it was time to go back, the dental hygienist could sense the kids were nervous but he made every effort to make them feel comfortable and told them every step of the way what he was doing and showed them all his tools. The goodie bags with new toothbrushes that the kids got to pick out definitely helped too! He went above and beyond to make their experience a good one. Dr. Katie was very welcoming with the kids and made our oldest feel very relaxed. You can tell she and the staff are trained to work with kids. We could not have been more happy with the service we received. I will definitely recommend this practice to our friends and family, especially those with little ones who feel nervous about going to the dentist. Dr. Katie and her team have relieved this worried mom who wasn't sure where to turn when looking for a new dentist for her kids. See you all in six months!
