Dr. Sherry Steinmetzis a first-class dentist who practices cosmetic, sedation, sleep dentistry (the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and snoring),TMJ/ TMD treatments, as wellasgeneral dentistry in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Steinmetz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biologyfrom the University of California at Riverside, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the renownedUniversity of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors.

She isone of an elite group of dentists certified in California to perform oral conscious sedation, and inFebruary 2011Dr. Steinmetzwas awarded the honorable Fellowship in Sedation Dentistry from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). In order to be awarded this prestigious title, Dr. Steinmetz completed advanced training and was proven to have met the depth of experience and rigorous educational requirements. She is one of only 10 doctors in the State of California to have achieved this high honor.
Dr. Steinmetz and her team are dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive dental care with superior customer service. They respect each guest that enters their office and treat them with the utmost care and professionalism.
Dr. Steinmetz has two lovely children, Cameron and Lily, who keep her very busy outside of the practice.In her spare time, she enjoys visiting with family and friends, volunteering at her children's school and scuba diving.

It was kind of eerie being in the office in the middle of COVID, but they take SUCH good care to make sure you are and feel safe. When I went in for my appointment I was the only one in the office and both Morgan and Dr. Steinmetz were a dream. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing dental work done.

New Age Dentistry is a wonderful team of family Dentistry. I was able to get a full exam yesterday, including x-rays and a thorough cleaning. As the SIP orders are lifting, my trusted team took several extra precautionary meaures to ensure my safety & comfort. I've been a patient for approximately 15 years and I truly appreciate the professionalism and genuine warmth of this established dentist office. Thank you Dr. Steinmetz, Morgan, Marquette, & Billie!

Amazing! Everyone is so nice and welcoming! I usually get really nervous going to a dentist, but everyone here is gentle and has a way of making you feel calm and at ease Lovely environment and top notch results! Can't get better than this!!

The team at New Age Dentistry is truly exceptional. From being greeted by Morgan, who is the absolute nicest person, to Karina, Marquetta and Dr. Steinmetz, the team is efficient and they do a fantastic job. You are regularly asked about your comfort and they offer a multitude of things to enhance it; chapstick, blankets, sound canceling headphones, protein shakes for when you can't eat after having work done (even if you don't want/need it, the offer is nice). You just don't find this level of care anymore. This office is a gem and I definitely recommend them.

I'm very happy with New Age Dentistry and Dr. Steinmetz. I've been a customer for about two years and have always had exemplary service. I had quite a few bad experiences with dental care in the past, but Dr. Steinmetz and her team really helped me though my anxiety and were extremely helpful and patient. They always communicate every step while working on me so I'm prepared in advance. It's comforting to know that I have a dentist who clearly understands anxiety and is truly sensitive to my needs. Additionally I have serious TMJ issues and researched online doctors who specialize in it - which Dr. Steinmetz does. I highly recommend New Age!

Cleanings are almost painless... something special for my sensitive teeth. Also used this office for Invisaline braces to deal with my age related crowding issues. Dr. Steinmetz asked questions, was very caring and addressed all my concerns! Could not have been better.

I have been a client at New Age Dentistry for a few years now and they always take great care of me whether it's cleanings, fillings, onlays, a crown, or teeth whitening. All of the staff and the dentist are caring and always ensure my comfort. It's especially nice to be wrapped in the fluffy fleece blanket to stay warm in the chair, while joking with the staff.
