Nelson Jenny DDS

Fayetteville, AR 72703

I am eager to gain my patients trust by treating them with the same care and compassion that I would want for my own family. My patients deserve to have all their treatment choices explained thoroughly, and through this counseling, I am able to help them regain their dental health in a non-threatening, comfortable way.

I attended the University of Missouri At Kansas City Dental School, graduating with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. That was almost 30 years ago, and since then, I have continually updated my education so I can bring the best service to my patients. I have attended the Dawson Institute for Advanced Dental Education and have studied dental implants intensely through the University of Frankfurt in Germany. I have studied with some of dentistrys best teachers to improve my skills in all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic treatments, from the simplest to the most complex cases. I am also working on my Mastership in the AGD.

I was born in Bentonville, AR, and have lived in Fayetteville since 1984. My wife Tricia and I have two wonderful children, Aaron and Ellen, and a dog named Pepe. My leisure time is spent with my family or outdoors where I enjoy fishing, canoeing, hiking, and photography. I also enjoy painting watercolors.

I love the fact that dentistry combines both art and science. Being able to create a beautiful and healthy smile for my patients is my number one goal. I appreciate the trust my patients place in me to help them achieve ideal dental health. Being able to make someone smile again that hasnt been comfortable smiling is a great feeling. I am proud to offer the highest level of quality family dental care, and I look forward to serving my patients with the same level of dedication for years to come.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and continued at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1996. It is my goal to always put my patients needs first. To do this effectively, it is necessary to continue my education in all aspects of dentistry to keep current on the newest treatment options. I am happy to attend numerous state and national dental meetings to stay updated with current trends and technology in dentistry.

I am a native of Paris, AR and now live in Fayetteville with my wife, Holly. I enjoy spending time with family, working out, swimming, traveling, and watching Razorback sports. I am also involved in my community through the Arkansas Mission of Mercy, Komen Foundation, Central United Methodist Church, Walton Art Center, and the Razorback Foundation.

I am enthusiastic about establishing a relationship of trust with my patients while determining their clinical needs and desires. I take great pride in formulating treatment plans specific to each patient and delivering excellent outcomes. As a healthcare provider, I am an avid believer in continuing education in order to provide my patients with state-of-the-art treatment.

I received degrees in psychology and microbiology from the University of Arkansas followed by a Master of Science in Biology working in Molecular Genetics. I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville. Following dental school, I completed a general practice residency receiving advanced training in oral surgery, dental implant placement, endodontics (root canals), and restorative and cosmetic dentistry at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

I was raised in Fayetteville and returned home after practicing in Tennessee for several years.I live in Fayetteville with my wife Leah, who is also a dentist, son Evan, daughter Charlotte, and our German Shepherd Ozzy.I am a member of St. Pauls Church.I enjoy volunteer work and have served on multiple mission trips to Belize, Central America.I volunteer my services locally at the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Clinic. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as following Arkansas Razorback sports.

My profession is inseparable from my life. I love helping others in any way possible and love seeing everyone happy. Dentistry allows me to do two things that I love the most: meet new people and help people.

The thing that excites me most about my work is learning about my patients and connecting with them personally. Few things are more gratifying to me than connecting with my patients, and then providing them with the dental care they need. I enjoy knowing that my patients trust me and will do what I can to maintain that trust.

I attended Conway High School followed by attaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at Hendrix College in Conway, AR. After graduating from Hendrix, I pursued my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.

I am passionate towards learning and furthering my knowledge. I enjoy attending conferences and educational seminars so that I can stay current with the newest and best techniques available for my patients. I also subscribe to multiple online seminars that keep me up to date on the newest services in a field that is continually changing.

I decided to make Fayetteville my home because my twin sisters and their families live in Northwest Arkansas. They recently had children, and I want to be as much a part of their lives as I can. I love my family and want my niece and nephews to know who Uncle Connor is.

When Im not spending time with my family, its most likely that Im watching or playing sports. I love the outdoors and attending Razorback sporting events. I played collegiate soccer for four years and I currently play in a city soccer league in Springdale and hope to keep playing soccer as long as my body allows. My other hobbies include hiking, swimming, boating, camping, fishing, and hunting.

My passion for dentistry stems from humanitarian mission trips I have had the opportunity to be a part of in the past. I whole-heartedly enjoy helping others, which is what attracted me to the field of dentistry. I also love volunteering within the community and attending church. Giving back to the community is extremely important to me because that is how you inspire others to make the world a better place. It may sound clich, but the people who have inspired me the most in my life consistently give back in numerous ways.
