After his sister had a traumatic experience when Dr. Nelson was just 10 years old, young Dr. Nelson decided that he no longer wanted to be a fighter pilothe wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Nelson graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and has been practicing in Grangeville for ten years, and has loved every minute of working with his amazing staff!

Dr. Nelson loves being a dentistparticularly in that it allows him to help others. He has a thirst for learning and enjoys discovering new ways that he can better serve his patients. He has taken many courses beyond school to become trained in new, exciting dental techniques including Implant therapy, Pinhole Surgical Technique, and various specialized surgeries. Dr. Nelson enjoys staying on the cutting edge of dental technology.

He, his wife, and their nine children enjoy rafting, biking, camping, and 4-wheeling together and are learning the ins and outs of fishing. At home, Dr. Nelson loves watching movies, playing games or just relaxing with his family.

I have lived in Grangeville for 28 years with my husband Dave and we just celebrated our 42ndwedding anniversary. We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. My hobbies are baking, reading a good book, and entertaining the grandchildren (or vise versa!).

I'm a wooden spoon, no bike helmet, bed of pickup riding, 4-wheelin', garden hose drinking survivor.Born and raised in Lewiston, ID to wonderful parents, I am the youngest having 4 older siblings, losing that race to my twin sister by 14 min. My original plan of being a flight attendant was thwarted by my lack of vertical inches. So, I took a chance and enrolled in an evening Dental Assisting class at LCSC while I was still a senior in high school. I sailed through the class and ended up loving it.I moved to Grangeville in 2000 after marrying Adam Aiken ...a Grangeville native... then soon started working at this dental office for Dr. John Link until he retired in 2009.

Dr. Michael Nelson took over the practice in February 2009 and introduced exciting new technology such as digital x-rays, dental implants and conscious sedation to me and patients. I'm thankful for receiving this valuable training and staying on top of this ever changing industry. With over 17 years of dental assisting experience, I'm still passionate about my job, sincerely care for my patients and thoroughly enjoy working for an easy-going doctor. I can usually be found hiding from the sun, bopping through the office with a smile on my face and a tune in my head.

I enjoy long dustless rides on my dirt bike, watching movies from the bed of my truck, creamer with a little coffee, and music from every genre, except jazz. I hate jazz. I've settled in and found myself with 2 beautiful daughters, my husbands hardwood/tile business flourishing and a career I love. Grangeville has become my home. Everything you've heard about redheads is, well, pretty much true. I didn't choose the ginger life, the ginger life chose me.

I started my dental journey in 1982, working for Dr. Link for nearly 19 years. I am a native Idaho County girl and I consider the people of this area as my people, therefore their well being is important to me. I have worked for Dr. Nelson since December 2017 where I am thrilled to be back in the same building where I started my career so many years ago!

My husband Dave and I live on a farm near Grangeville. We have 3 adult children (2 sons and a daughter), 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, all things artistic and outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping and riding ATVs.

I am new to this dental office, but not new to working in a fast-paced environment. I received my business degree in business management from University of Washington in 2004 and got married to my best friend, Adam. After graduating I put my degree to work with several companies in Seattle, WA where I learned a lot about business and customer service. Several years later we had our first child, Dylan and moved from Washington to Grangeville, Idaho where I was raised.

For us it made sense to raise our children here; my family lives here, small town, great community, safe environment and so many things to do. We love to whitewater raft, motorcycle ride, camp, golf, grow a garden, swim at the park, ride bikes around town, etc.

Upon our move, my husband got a job at Idaho Forest Group, where he still works today. I worked part-time for an insurance company until we had our second son, Elijah. I decided to be a stay-at-home mom until both children were in preschool. As soon as Elijah was enrolled, I felt as though my brain was turning to mush and needed a little adult time. I worked as a pharmacy technician for three years and loved the work and friends I had there.

Being part of this community and working for Dr. Nelson has given me hope for our future. We all care so much about our patients and each other that I absolutely love coming to work. I was a patient of Dr. Links when I was a child (my family moved here in 1983). We stayed until I graduated high school and then I moved back in 2007 with my own family and transitioned into a patient of Dr. Nelsons. He was so good to my family, especially my kids! They were actually excited to get their teeth cleaned. My oldest had 4 cavities on his first visit so that says a lot about Dr. Nelson and how good he is with children. Not many dentists can make that experience non-traumatic!

Hi, my name is Terra Hill and I have been in dentistry for over 21 years and have worked in the same office the entire time. I absolutely love my field of work and my office family. When you love what you do, it's no longer a job! The relationships I have developed with my patients and the excellent clientele of people we have in our office make being a dental hygienist so rewarding. As your hygienist I will strive to give you the highest quality of care and keep you informed on the health of your mouth.

When I am not in my work environment, you will find me outdoors. I love nature and my Idahome! I can be found landscaping, flower gardening, or hiking, biking, and skiing in the foothills. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters.

I moved to Grangeville 20 years ago and was so fortunate to get this job just several months later. At the time I didnt realize how much I would grow to love this job and the amazing people I work with. After 20 years I still love coming to work every day (maybe thats because I only work 1.5 days a week)! Seriously, the people I work with have become like family and Dr. Nelson has kept the job so interesting by always being up to date with the latest technology.

I was born and raised in a small town in Eastern Oregon. My husband Jeff grew up in Grangeville. Every time wed visit his family here I fell more and more in love with this little town. I knew it was where I wanted to raise our kids. Our daughter Lexie and Delanie were 3 and 6 years old when we finally made the move. They are now 25 and 22 and weve added two more daughters; Kinzley (11) and Bridgelee (5). We were also blessed with a granddaughter last year. Girls, girls, and more girls! Being surrounded by so much female power, my husband began coaching football for some much needed guy time and has for the last 10 years.
