Dr. Trey Nelson was born and raised in Manassas. After graduating from Osbourn High School, he attended Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with honors cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1994. He was awarded the Humanitarian Award at graduation.
Dr. Nelson believes that education is a lifelong pursuit. He continues to seek out additional knowledge, using the latest technology to help him provide the best care for his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Nick Nelson has been practicing dentistry in Manassas for over 54 years. Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Lawerenceville, Virginia. He attended Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. After dental school he served his country in the United States Air Force. In 1965 he began his practice in Manassas.
Dr. Nelson is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and numerous local civic organizations including the Bull Run Kiwanis Club. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, as well as traveling and playing golf.
Sherri has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 30 years, joining the Nelson Dental Practice in 2005. In 1988 she earned her Associates of Dental Hygiene degree from Prairie State College, in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Her thorough, yet gentle manner is appreciated by her patients. Helping her patients achieve their best dental health is her goal. She enjoys the family oriented culture of the practice and feels privileged to have had the opportunity to develop long term professional relationships with many of her loyal patients. She and her husband, Mitch, keep busy with their blended family of 7 children, a grandson and a granddaughter on the way.
Anna was born and raised in Northern Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Lansing Community College in 2008. She has been with the Nelson Dental Practice since 2009. Anna enjoys the personal experience she gives to each patient, helping to improve and maintain their oral health. In her spare time, she is a busy mom, enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Mariah moved to Manassas from West Virginia in 2018. She has several years of dental assisting experience. Mariah enjoys working in the dental field and it shows in her interactions with our patients.
Patricia joined our practice in 2019. Her background is in nursing, where she previously worked at a kidney clinic as a medical assistant. She is a long term resident of the area and has been a patient of the practice dating back to early childhood. Patricia is fluent in Spanish and English.
