Eunice is the Office Administrator and has been with the Nelson Dental team for over 10 years. She grew up in the Austin area and has been an Austin resident for 33 years. Her husband is a retired policeman and they have four grandsons who they enjoy spending time with. She also enjoys gardening, sewing, cooking, traveling, and Sudoku puzzles.
In my position, each and every day is different and offers new challenges and experiences. It is so rewarding to be a part of a dedicated dental team, and see a patient go through a smile change and see the difference it makes for their life. Eunice
Marissa is a graduate of the Dental Assisting program from Rochester Community and Technical College with a diploma in Dental Assisting. She has been a part of the Nelson dental team since she began her career as a dental assistant in 2004. Marissa lives in Albert Lea with her husband Paul and son Isaiah. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies and going on shopping trips to the Mall of America.
Patty is a hygienist who has been with Nelson Dental for more than 20 years. She is an Austin native and returned to the area after her dental hygiene training at the University of Minnesota. She is married and has three children and four grandchildren.
New to Nelson Dental! Courtney received her training at Rochester Community and Technical College. She is married with 3 daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding motorcycles, and crafting.
I was raised in Austin, Minnesota. I have a family connection to dentistry. My father has been practicing dentistry in Austin since 1973. I have always felt a desire to serve others and have had an affinity for art and science. My journey began with earning an undergraduate degree (B.S.) from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and went on to attend dental school at the University of Minnesota.
In 1999, I began practicing in Austin with my father. In 2008, after nine years of successful practice, I discovered my true passion in dentistry, creating beautiful smiles and complex restorative dentistry. Today, we are still a general dental practice, however, we can truly provide esthetic and comprehensive care at the highest level.
Being current with the ever changing profession of dentistry is my commitment. I have studied at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI Global), founded by Dr. William Dickerson. I enrolled in LVI to improve my skills and knowledge in cosmetic and complex restorative dentistry. It has solidified my inspiration to provide great service and to use only materials I would place in my own mouth to my guests.
I strongly believe each individual deserves the choice to have the best dentistry has to offer. My goal is to provide my guests with the areas most advanced dental healthcare in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Bringing the art and science of cosmetic and restorative dentistry to my guests and helping them have a beautiful smile is one of the most satisfying things I do in my life.

Everyone is always nice and helpful. They work with your insurance right away so you don't have to deal with that. Dr Sean always remembers me too.

My family and I have gone to Nelson Dental clinic for years. Staff have always filed insurance and answered questions. Our hygienists have always listened to concerns and discussed them with Dr. Nelson and myself. Dr Nelson has successfully extracted teeth, done fillings, and even root canals. Today he extracted my wisdom tooth which saved me from having to go to an oral surgeon. I was confident in his abilities and pleased at how easily it came out

I really did a good job brushing and flossing before I came to see Sean and Courtney gave me a great cleaning so no cavities for now until I come back in the fall for another checkup and I owe Sean a big thank you for being a great brother and dentist and he made my life happy!

Another seamless experience at Nelson Dental. Dr. Sean and Courtney were so informative, friendly, and expert in completing my procedure. It was painless as always and the result was perfect. Dr. Sean is always so honest in assessing what I really need. And Eunice does a great job on the billing end. I would highly recommend Nelson Dental to anyone!

Dr. Nelson and everyone at his office are very professional, competent and caring! They do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable and that procedures and treatments go smoothly. I have had a number of terrible dental experiences throughout my life so trusting any dentist or dental office since has been a challenge. I have learned I can trust in Dr. Nelson and his team. What really sets them apart is that they genuinely care about people!
