Dr. Roberts received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Illinois Dental School. He then spent two years in a dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During this residency, he received training in dental and implant surgery, as well as sedation procedures. Dr. Roberts has been practicing dentistry in Dallas since 1987. He was awarded the Young Dentist of the Year in 1990 for Dallas County. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentistry (F.A.A.H.D.). Dr. Roberts served on the Dallas County Dental Society Board of Directors from 1992-1996 and served as President of the NTDS in 2005-2006. He is currently serving as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and lectures in the area of general dental surgery, as well as in the area of prevention of and preparation for medical emergencies in the dental office.

Dr. Nelson is true to his word. He does what he says he is going to do. He talked me through the entire procedure making me feel very comfortable. He is patient and HONEST. He stands by his treatment plans. His work is impeccable!! He wants the best look for you and will give you just that...I AM SO IMPRESSED....I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIS WORK TO MY CO-WORKERS...AND TO MY DAUGHTER....

I've been here since 8:20 for my appointment at 8:30. I specify the importance of seeing doctor Nelson, seemed a little clueless when I mentioned it during my cleaning, but said he gets here at 9am and will let him know then. It's 9:40 and I'm still waiting. Not to mention this is my whole reason of being here....I wonder how much longer will my wait be. Yes, I'm typing this as I wait. Update: as of COVID the have no delays. I'm in for what I am in and out in a timely manner. So far, it's great service and his recommendations are appreciated. He gives different options and scenarios is to who I can go about a dental situation.

I take my 94-year-old father to Dr. Nelson. He and his staff are kind, gentle and very respectful working with him. They go to any length to make their patient comfortable, happy and satisfied. They are wonderful!

Dr. Nelson has been our family dentist for over 25 years. His standard of care and exellence of service has not demiished over these 25 years, in fact it has gotten better. Dr. Nelson is a knowledgable and caring professional who has a true heart for his patients and makes it a point to make a personal connection. He has a "Cutting Edge Technology" mentality when it comes to teeth care and makes sure that his office is equipped with only the latest and greatest equipment to insure his patients receives top quality care always. He is not alone in this operation, is entire Team from his office Team to his Dental Assitants are extremely customer focused and very professional as well. I have always felt welcomed whenever i have work done. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes from the time my scheduled appointment to the time I am seened by a Dentist or a hygenist.
