One of the founding fathers in the legalization of Denturism in thestate of Oregon in the late seventies, Ken Holden, played a major role inchanging the law as to who can treat denture patients.Having to fight toget his license, Ken finally was allowed to practice as a denturist andopened Alpha Dental in 1981 in Corvallis and Eugene. In the late 90sKen began talking with his son-in-law Todd Young, who was theDirector of Development for Elmers Restaurants at the time, aboutexploring the field of Denturism.
After taking the time to investigate the business and see what Ken didon a daily basis as a Denturist, Todd knew that he had found his calling. He loved the fact that he could impact peoples lives on a daily basis by providingthem with a new smile. While getting his denturist license atGeorge Brown,Todd worked under Kens guidance for two years before takingover the practice in 2000.Thebusiness added locations in Roseburg and Salem, and most recently alocation on the coast in Florence.
