We relocated our office in 2009 to a brand new facility in the 6B Liberty professional building in the city of Aliso Viejo. We were at our previous location across from Nellie Gail Ranch bordering the cities of Aliso Viejo and Laguna Hills for the past 14 years.
Our 2400 square foot facility includes a reception area with complimentary video games and an open treatment bay where surround sound movies are played. Our treatment area and patient accessible balcony look out over the city of Aliso Viejo.
We take and process initial, progress, and final orthodontic records, including all radiographs, study models, and photographs, at the office.This allows us the freedom to take diagnostic records as necessary, minimizing the cost of diagnostic services, and eliminating the inconvenience and need to go to an outside lab.
In addition, our office is equipped with a state-of-the-art Kodak digital x-ray machine that emits 90% less radiation than traditional x-ray machines. Digital x-rays allow for optimal coordination of treatment between Dr. B, your family dentist, and any other necessary specialists by allowing for the immediate transfer of images between offices.
Dr. Botzbach completed his specialty training in orthodontics at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Rochester, MN. He received a masters degree in orthodontics at the Mayo Graduate School. He earned his D.D.S. degree at U.C.L.A., where he was a Regents Scholar and graduated at the top of his class.
Dr. Botzbach obtained a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California at Irvine where he graduated with honors and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Botzbach is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, as well as the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Association, and the Christian Medical Dental Association.
Dr. Botzbachs sister, also named Pam, is our patient coordinator. Pam has a B.S. in health information management and is a registered record administrator. Pam and Mariana make up our front office team and will assist you in scheduling and with financial and insurance issues.
Barbara and Martha are our two dental assistants. Barb has been working with Dr. B for over twenty years and Martha for over five years. Their experience and patient first philosophy keeps our patients comfortable and helps our office to run smoothly and efficiently.
Olaya is the newest addition to our staff and just so happens to be Marthas cousin. Olaya helps out in the treatment area and at the front desk. She is in charge of our 3D printer and allows us the ability to fabricate next day clear retainers.
You may also occasionally see Jamie or Dr. Bs children helping out. Jamie worked in the office as a dental assistant and then as our office manager prior to deciding to work at home to focus on her family. She graciously helps out when she can when we are short staffed. Our office has been all digital since 2019. Dr. Bs children have been working on digitizing the previous 24 years worth of paper files and plaster study models.

Dr B was my ortho when I first had braces as a teen and later when I needed some adjusting because my teeth moved with my wisdom teeth he was great again! The office has always been friendly and peaceful

I could not be happier with the quality of care and the service they provide at this practice. Dr. Botzbach is very knowledgable patient and caring. He took his time to listen to all of my concerns and planed the best treatment which fits my life stile. Other than being a great doctor he is an amazing person, very understanding and always welcoming. His team members are super nice and caring, Pam and Mariana are always available to help, and if you leave them a voicemail after business hours they get back to you as soon as they are back in the office. Their follow up skills are exceptional. Barb and Martha are both very experienced and gentle. Every-time they work on your braces, they keep checking on you multiple times during the treatment to make sure you are in the most comfortable position as possible and are not in any pain. Their prices are very fair for the high quality service they provide, they also have payment plans which worked great for me. If you care about your dental heath and beauty this is definitely the place to go.

I came to Dr. B's last year for treatment before my wedding day. He and all his team were great! I'm so happy with my results and loved how this office offered in-office financing. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an orthodontist to come here!

You must visit the team at Nellie Gail Orthodontics. Dr. Botzbach is incredible! His vision is to provide the best and highest quality orthodontics experience for all of his patients. I definitely feel like both of my children are his top priority at every visit. He provides the best care and has the most ethical and professional manner. He genuinely cares about my children's teeth and always looks out for their wellbeing. I also have to mention the incredible team that work for Dr. Botzbach. Pam & Marianna are the driving ship of this business. They provide the best customer service and have the friendliest demeanor. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Just got my braces off and I am 'over the moon' excited about the results. Being a bit older than the average orthodontic patient, I was concerned about the process and a bit hesitant when my dentist suggested braces.
