Neil R. Cornell, DDS is a family dental office in Tulsa, OK. We have been providing excellent dental care to the city and surrounding communities since 2010, but we continue to learn and apply the latest dental treatments necessary to help you and your family have healthy, bright smiles.

As with any dental office, we offer basic treatments such as fillings for cavities, professional cleanings, and detailed exams. But at our office, we offer a comprehensive set of treatments to help everyone in your family get the smiles they deserve. We can see children for their first visit as early as one year old, and we can offer implants and dentures for older patients. In between, we have cosmetic treatments so you can stop being embarrassed about your smile, restorative treatments to get your teeth back to working order, and even emergency treatments for when accidents and injuries happen. We can even help treat jaw pain and sleep apnea.

Because we are focused on delivering comprehensive dental care, our office has some of the latest dental technologies and techniques available. We offer low-radiation digital X-rays and have a system to create three-dimensional, panoramic views of your teeth and jaw. If you have gum disease symptoms, we can offer Arestin timed-release antibiotics to kill harmful bacteria. If your teeth are dingy, the Opalescence teeth whitening system can make your smile bright again. And if you need a crown or set of veneers, we utilize e.max to make sure theyre attractive but protective.

All of the new tools and techniques dont matter unless you have the right people in place. Dr. Neil Cornell is highly trained in dentistry, having received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University. He also attended a general residency (focused on oral surgery) in a VA hospital, which trained him on many different treatments. He continues to study new treatments with colleagues in a Spear group. Dr. Cornell picked his staff for their combination of training, ability, and people skills.

Dr. Neil R. Cornell received his undergraduate degree in Biology from West Virginia University in 1993, after which he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the WVU School of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Cornell performed his General Practice Residency (focused on oral surgery) at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Martinsburg, WV. That experience began growing his passion for providing an advanced level of treatment and wider breadth of services he wished to provide with excellence to his patients. Subsequent to the VA hospital residency, he chose to pursue an implant training course and continues to participate in some of the most sought after dental peer study groups in the country.

Dr. Cornell began working as an associate dentist in 1998, but soon purchased his first dental office in Atlanta, GA. He moved to Tulsa, OK in 2010, where he purchased his dental practice on Yale Avenue. Dr. Cornell participates in several national study groups including the Spear Study Club which provides him and his peers a unique opportunity to collaborate on the most challenging cases.

In light of his ongoing studies, Dr. Cornell enjoys providing a level of comprehensive care that is of tremendous benefit to his patients. During the more complex cases, he walks with his patients through a learning and discovery phase, and comes to mutually agreed upon plans that can serve the patient both aesthetically and functionally.

Shannon Richardson is Dr. Cornells lead assistant. She has worked as a dental assistant for 17 years and is extremely knowledgeable of procedures and is delighted to answer any questions a patient may have! She takes great pride in ensuring the comfort of each patient and does an awesome job walking patients through treatment. She will make you feel right at home in the chair. Shannon enjoys walking and spending time with her friends and nephews and enjoys being fun Aunt Shannon.

Lacey Shriver attended Oklahoma University for Dental Hygiene and graduated in 1999. She has practiced dentistry in Missouri, Connecticut, and Oklahoma. She also traveled around the United States and trained other dental offices on the use of Invisalign Orthodontic treatment. Lacey has lived in Owasso for the past 7 years and loves to spend her free time with her family. Playing tennis, boating with her husband and girls, and watching her girls sing and play guitar are a few of her life loves!

Sherrie Stottlemyre has worked in dentistry for 45 years. Sherrie is trained as a dental assistant and to work in the front office explaining dental treatment and insurance. She is able to walk patients through treatment plans and make sure they fully understand procedures. Sherrie Stottlemyre and her husband have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy hanging out by their pool and hiking.Patients enjoy Sherries warm nature and appreciate her wide span of dental knowledge.

Abby Eckerd-Sweet attended Oklahoma University for Dental Hygiene and has worked in the field for nine years. She enjoys spending time with patients and treats them like family. She is a wife and mom to two great kids. She is active in church, loves baking and photography.

Susan Miller received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Baylor University. She grew up overseas and speaks fluent Spanish. She is a wife and mom of three children. When not at work she enjoys spending time outside with her family and friends.
