Best dentist to date legit they are very thorough and gentle as can be my kiddos love them and my oldest gets nervous from having previous bad experiences with other dentist and these guys put her at ease amazing.
Nicole cleaned my teeth and I was shocked with how wonderful the experience was! She was so gentle on my teeth and caring. She also could not have been any friendlier! Doctor Sean Rasmusson was also amazing! He was very informative and helpful with making a plan with me for my teeth as I may need future work done on them.

Dental visits are far from scary at Neighborhood Dental. Our team makes sure youre comfortable from the moment you walk into our office, where well gently clean and examine your teeth, mouth, and gums.
Well safely and quickly complete an x-ray if needed. Once complete, the dentist will review the x-ray, and examine your teeth, gums and bite. Additionally, we will conduct an oral cancer screening by gently feeling under the jaw, checking inside the lips, tongue, and sides, as well as the floor and roof of the mouth.
A dental exam consists of examining your mouth, including the teeth, gums, tongue, jaw, and neck. After thoroughly cleaning your teeth and gums and completing x-rays, the dentist performs an exam by looking at your x-rays and mouth. Our goal is to make sure youre staying healthy and maintaining your oral health long-term.
Besides making sure youre brushing and flossing correctly, our dentist checks for existing tooth decay issues, gum disease, potential bone loss in the teeth, and jaw and bite alignment. If you have any cavities or crowns, we check to make sure they dont need to be fixed or replaced.

A dental checkup can take up to an hour for our dental hygienist and dentist to thoroughly clean your teeth and check your teeth and gum health. Each patient is different, so the exact time it takes to complete an exam varies from patient to patient.

The girls that work here are great - Dr. Shawd is a great dentist BUT had terrible experience with the financial department and dealing with the insurance company. They ran the insurance, said it was covered but now a couple months later they're coming back and saying my insurance isn't covering it and coming back after me for more money even though I paid with all cash at the time of appointment.

We love Neighborhood Dental! My kids are NEVER afraid to go to the dentist because all staff members are so welcoming and amazing with kids! We have always received the best care for our teeth there! Before moving to Brandon, we would drive 5 hours for our dental appointments at Neighborhood Dental. It was worth every mile to go to a dentist office that not only cares about our teeth, but us as people too! Hands down, the best!!!!!!!

Dr. Shawd & his staff are AMAZING! My 6 year old had his 1st cavity & they helped him breeze through the entire process. I have heard horror stories from others about having procedures done on children resulting in total sedation. The Neighborhood Dental team did a exceptional job with my son making it a very easy process. We were in & out in less than 1 hour & he said it wasn't scary at all & it didn't even hurt!

I have been seeing Dr. Nick for over 10 years!!! He has been great; even when my now 12 yr old bit him at her first appointment!!! The clinic has expanded over the years and the kids and I travel to Tea to see Dr. Nick or Dr. Kayla instead of going to a Neighborhood Dental closer to home. All of the staff here are friendly.
