Best dentist to date legit they are very thorough and gentle as can be my kiddos love them and my oldest gets nervous from having previous bad experiences with other dentist and these guys put her at ease amazing.

Nicole cleaned my teeth and I was shocked with how wonderful the experience was! She was so gentle on my teeth and caring. She also could not have been any friendlier! Doctor Sean Rasmusson was also amazing! He was very informative and helpful with making a plan with me for my teeth as I may need future work done on them.

Undetected dental issues can turn into serious health problems that can end up costing more time, money, and stress.

Dental visits are far from scary at Neighborhood Dental. Our team makes sure youre comfortable from the moment you walk into our office, where well gently clean and examine your teeth, mouth, and gums.

  • Step 3 Well safely and quickly complete an x-ray if needed. Once complete, the dentist will review the x-ray, and examine your teeth, gums and bite. • What does a dental exam include? A dental exam consists of examining your mouth, including the teeth, gums, tongue, jaw, and neck. After thoroughly cleaning your teeth and gums and completing x-rays, the dentist performs an exam by looking at your x-rays and mouth. Our goal is to make sure youre staying healthy and maintaining your oral health long-term. Besides making sure youre brushing and flossing correctly, our dentist checks for existing tooth decay issues, gum disease, potential bone loss in the teeth, and jaw and bite alignment. If you have any cavities or crowns, we check to make sure they dont need to be fixed or replaced. Our dentist in Sioux Falls, SD also performs an oral cancer screening at each exam because early detection is vital to your long-term health. The dental exam is a pain-free process and preventive health care can stop problems before they arise or worsen. After the exam, well discuss anything of concern and the next steps. Feel free to ask any questions about your teeth and gums; were here to help.

Edit: They clearly have a good first impression. But was told I needed 4 fillings after my previous dentist (left due to insurance) never had anything negative to say. After 2 months, I still cannot use the right side of my mouth...They rushed the job, told me my bite was off because of my mouth was numb, but after 7 follow ups and seeing a 2nd dentist at the facility, the best they can do is joke that I just shouldn't eat hard foods anymore. Unbelievable... I have sensitive teeth now and physically can't eat a sandwich because of the pain. AVOID Original review: Excellent office! Highly educational. They show you pictures of your teeth, not just X-rays, so you feel more confident why they would be suggesting certain procedures.

They made feel very comfortable in the patient's chair while they gave the novacaine shot, and when they gave me the numbing shot to do the root canal, it wasn't near as sharp as when I have had to have the numbing shots in the past.

I'm a new client of Neighborhood Dental and absolutely love the staff and Doc they have. I walk in and the staff at the front know who I am without having to say anything. My first visit, I received a gift bag and also a few days later I got a card from the dental assistant witch I thought was super cool. I would rate 100 out of 10.

I have been a patient for Neighborhood Dental for over a year now and they have truly changed my outlook on dentistry. Dr. Ridgway has given me the freedom to make my own decision and has given me the best advice from a professional stand point. I have had to have major reconstructive work done and they have been so cost-efficient and have worked so diligently to work with my insurance and my budget. Unlike most providers I have experienced an after hour emergency and I was able to contact Dr. Ridgway directly, he helped ease my nerves and offered me the solution to best fix my issue. Thank you Neighborhood Dental and Dr. Ridgway for everything you have done for me!!

Very nice front desk staff, super nice team members, only thing that could be a bit better is the dentists need to have more patience with the kids that come in.

I enjoy the way I am treated by everyone there. They pay attention to my concerns and don't hurry through my appointment like I was a piece of cattle or something. The whole experience is very worthwhile. Steve Butterfield

The staff are courteous and respectful. The cleaning process is always relaxing and satisfying. I had the best tips on effective flossing from them, which has been helpful! I indeed love it here.
