You can find our office at 102 10th Avenue in the beautiful log cabin on the corner. Our office features a convenient location and a gorgeous log cabin ambiance. We also use the latest dental equipment, cutting-edge oral care methods, and state of the art sterilization systems all in a historic, original Fairbanks home. Inside, we strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere to soothe frazzled nerves. Our doctor projects a very comforting presence, our staff are caring, and even our background music has been carefully chosen to help you feel relaxed and calm. This relaxing and stress-free atmosphere is enhanced by our teams energetic and upbeat attitudes. Our team has been together for many years, and we are all dedicated towards providing high quality care while offering patient comfort as well.

On your first visit to our dental office, we will discuss and work with you to develop a suitable dental treatment plan that matches your particular needs and budget. Bring your current insurance card if you have dental insurance coverage. If you dont have an insurance card, you should note your subscriber number, your group number, and your phone number. We will need this information to save time and to enable us lend the assistance youll need in processing your insurance claim. On your visit visit, we will discuss your oral care needs. For most patients, the first visit includes a thorough teeth cleaning as part of treatment. We will also most likely take the crucial photographs and radiographs of your mouth so that we can properly develop accurate diagnoses and plan the most effective treatment solutions.

Younger patients who are not yet 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on their first visit. If youre on any medications, you should inform us of this right away as this may affect your treatment. These medications include heart medications, anticoagulant therapy, or even aspirin. You should also tell us if youve been diagnosed with any medical condition. These conditions include high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes, and rheumatic fever. These conditions will affect the kind of procedures we can best suggest to help with your oral care. In addition, you should also inform us if you have artificial joints and heart valves.

If your doctor or your previous dentist has taken any X-rays within the last year, please have them sent to our dental office. The information they contain can help us with your oral health care. Any digital radiograph can simply be sent to us as an attachment to an email message. Additional films can be sent to our office.

Its been almost 10 years since Dr. Sawdy hired me fresh out of dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio to work with him. Now I have the privilege of being the proud owner of Neibaur Dental, Inc. and continuing our legacy of great patient care. I always have big plans and look forward to implementing them over the next few years.

I am proud to call Fairbanks, Alaska home with its eclectic cast of characters and personalities. I feel more and more Alaskan after each winter survived. I thought I knew what winter was from growing up on a potato farm in southeast Idaho, but I know better now. I love spending my off time adventuring through the backcountry of Alaska and am steadily exploring more and more of this great state. Some of my favorites have included packrafting in the Alaska Range, regularly fat biking through the Goldstream Valley, climbing Mt. Prindle with my dogs and looking for secret fishing holes across the interior. My three boys, Stratton, Dashell, and Pilot always keep life interesting, and my wife, Whitney, keeps me grounded. They all join me in our love of the outdoors and you can usually find us fishing, camping, hiking, snowmachining, and all around taking advantage of all that Alaska has to offer.

I am passionate about my role as a dentist and want to be known for my quality care and comfortable approach. I am eager to find the best solution for you. Furthering my dental education in the interest of adding additional services that will benefit my patients and help fulfill their dental needs and aesthetic desires is a cornerstone of my practice. I actively participate with a local Spear Education study club and am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the North Central Dental Association, and the Alaska Dental Association.
