As you are probably aware, there is widespread news coverage involving the investigation of an Oklahoma oral surgeon for allegedly poor infection control practices and delegation of dental procedures. I want to assure you that in our dental practice, we follow stringent infection control procedures. As your doctor, I only delegate procedures to my staff that they are licensed or qualified to perform per Massachusetts regulations. I care about my patients and your health and safety are my foremost priorities.
* Non-disposable dental instruments are cleaned and sterilized between patients. In my office we sterilize instruments using a steam heat autoclave. We utilize visual inspection, temperature verification, and an outside lab to verify efficacy of sterilization.

Dr. Davis has been a lifetime resident of Needham and has been practicing family and general dentistry for more than 30 years. After finishing Needham High School in 1974, he attended the University of Rochester, NY. and completed his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1982. The following year, Dr. Davis received a certificate of advanced training, after completing his residency in General Practice, from The Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.
A life-long learner, Dr. Davis is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), and many other professional study clubs and organizations. In 1990, Dr. Davis earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and was recognized as a Master in the AGD June, 2013. He is a Past President and current member of the Needham Dental Study Club and the Charles River Dental Study Club. He is an active volunteer at the annual Yankee Dental Congress, the largest continuing education meeting in New England.
Dr. Davis returned to Needham and opened his practice in 1983, treating patients from ages 2 to 102! With his wife, Greta, and three children, Benjamin, Jaclyn, and Brian, the Davises have been active members of the Needham Community. Dr. Davis served as a Town Meeting Member for ten years, and as President of the Needham Education Foundation 1995-97. He has coached youth baseball, soccer and basketball, is an active jogger and has attended the Boston baseball fantasy camp every year since 2004.
Leigh received her bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts, and became a licensed Hygienist in 1994. Leigh has been with our practice since 1999. Leigh is committed to providing excellent dental hygiene in the most comfortable and efficient manner. Living in Franklin, with her two wonderful kids, Leigh loves the outdoors and enjoys travelling when able. You will truly enjoy Leigh's pleasant manner.
Holly received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Bridgeport - Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 1989, and joined our practice in March of 2016. She values not only the clinical aspect of her work, but enjoys educating patients to assist them in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. She lives in Millis with her two awesome sons. A self-taught pianist since age four, she also enjoys singing opera and jazz. Holly looks forward to meeting and fostering a trusted relationship with our valued patients.
Nancy graduated from Massasoit's School of Dental Assisting where she won the Ann Bear Scholarship. She has been a Dental Assistant for twenty years and working in our office since January 2010 as a licensed dental assistant. Nancy is also certified in Radiology. She works closely with Dr. Davis chairside. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her pets and family.
More than 35 years ago, Lois joined Dr. Davis working just one half day a week. She has served our practice in many roles but now helps oversee office operations. She is a wealth of information--any questions, just ask Lois.
