Diane is also very familiar with dental insurance plans and happy to answer questions about them. She likes being able to help people receive the best benefits they can for the treatment needed.
Renee has been a dental assistant for Nebraska Dental Center since 1987, and has been a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for most of that time. With the variety of people and procedures provided, she says her job is never boring. She especially likes helping those with dental anxiety receive the needed treatment comfortably with as little stress as possible. Hearing them say that wasnt so bad brings her joy. What she likes most though is seeing them smile when they look at themselves for the first time after treatment is completed. Renee says, Its amazing what confidence they show when they see how good they look. She is glad she can help bring that feeling to them.

From Giles Road in La Vista, turn into the strip mall anchored by Thrift America - Thrift Store and HobbyTown USA. Nebraska Dental Center is four businesses to the right of HobbyTown USA. Look for the green Nebraska Dental Center logo and the 'Nebraska Dental Center' window decal.
Been going here for 30 years. Won't go anywhere else unless I have to for all of my dental work. The Dr. is awesome and an expert you can trust. I have had cleanings, cavities filled, and a crown. Highly recommend for people with teeth sensitivity issues and dental anxiety in general.
After having a less than pleasant experience at another dental office, I decided to seek a second opinion from Nebraska Dental. The minute I walked in I felt so welcomed by the front desk and the whole dental team! They answered any questions/concerns I had and took the time to discuss the plan for my teeth with me with care and compassion. This team is outstanding, I would recommend them to anyone!
Born and raised here in Nebraska, Im proud to be able to serve my home state as a dentist. I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and have been in practice in Nebraska ever since. I understand that learning is a lifelong pursuit, and make it a goal to continue to take advanced continuing education courses across the country to further develop my skills to provide top-level care to my patients. I have earned the title of Fellow from Implant Pathway for my coursework on implants and have also taken courses from renowned experts on root canals, extractions, and crowns. Additionally, I continue to study ways to provide painless injections and spend time learning how to perform procedures in time-efficient ways to reduce the amount of time my patients have to spend in the dental office.
At Nebraska Dental Center, I enjoy getting to know my patients and discussing with them their needs and desires for their oral health. Many patients are nervous about visiting the dentist, and I take pride in making their visit a pleasant and comfortable experience. My number one goal is to make patients feel at home in our office!
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry and enjoy being a part of organized dentistry to stay up to date with current regulations and best practices. I serve as an adjunct faculty at UNMC and volunteer my time at Peoples City Mission and Clinic With A Heart providing dental services to the under-served in the community.
When Im not focusing on serving my patients, I enjoy spending my time with my wife, Haley, and Shih Tzu named Merlin. Some of my favorite things to do include reading both fiction and nonfiction, cooking new meals or trying out new styles of food, and spending time doing physical activities such as weight lifting or running to keep myself healthy. I am also learning to play tennis, and decided to learn to play it left-handed (as a natural righty, this has been interesting, to say the least!).
