Dr. Nealon attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara graduating with a BS in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the UCSF School of Dentistry in 2002. After graduation he completed a hospital-based general practice residency in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Nealon returned to San Francisco to work as a general dentist at the Native American Health Center community clinic and in private practice. In 2005 he returned for Endodontic Specialty training at Harvard University, graduating in 2008 with a certificate of specialty and a Masters degree in Medical Sciences. Dr. Nealon has practiced in the Bay Area since 2008.

I needed a root canal and Dr. Nealon and his staff have done a wonderful job. As someone who gets nervous going to the dentist they made me feel at home and comfortable the whole time through. I highly recommend!

The staff at this place is amazingly kind and helpful, and Dr. Nealon did a great job on my root canal. He was thorough and it didn't hurt nearly as bad as i thought it would. Im going to see these folks again if i need dental surgery (but hopefully i dont have to see them for a long time! :D. THanks North Hill!

Matthew Nealon is a fine endodontist, but more than that he is one of the best medical professionals I have ever met. He is thoughtful, analytical, and his technical skills surpass what one might rightfully expect from an ordinary practitioner.
