Neal Wallace Dental - General dentist in Hanover, NH

Born and raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Elaine Neal was graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (home of Jimmy Stewart!) with a degree in elementary education. She taught along with her husband Frank in Chincoteague, Virginia, and then in the Eskimo village of Atmautluak in western Alaska. Following a second bachelors degree at the University of Delaware she completed her studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where she was graduated with honors. Elaine, Frank and daughter Kat moved to the Upper Valley in 1988. She began her dental career as associate of Dr. Red Logan in Hanover, NH, one of the finest dentists she has ever known. She purchased his practice in 1991 and practiced with him until his death in 1995. As her mentor, Dr. Logan was instrumental in Elaines membership in the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators and the Academy of Operative Dentistry where she remains active today. Elaine is an avid gardener and hardscaper. She is also a world-record holding powerlifter (helps in moving all those rocks!) She lives with her husband Frank, two huge dogs, a cat and three miniature donkeys at Frog Pond Farm in Lyme, NH.

Nice staff but far too expensive for private patients, especially considering the number of dentists in the Hanover-Lebanon area.

Really nice staff and high-quality service. Had a very pleasant cleaning and came back to have a night guard made. Reasonable prices, and excellent accommodations given the current COVID restrictions (temperature taken at the door, PPE, etc.). Can't recommend highly enough.

I've been seeing Dr. Neal for years and she is always so warm, friendly, funny, and evidently skilled at her craft/science. The work she's done has always been sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. I also had Dr. Wallace recently for an emergency appointment, and he was extremely nice, accommodating, effective, and knowledgeable. What a great team!

I have been a patient at this practice since the days of Dr. Neal's predecessor, the great Red Logan. Not many could fill his shoes, but Elaine does so admirably, and it looks to me like HER successor, Tanner, is in the superb tradition. I would almost prefer to have NO teeth than to have to find another dental practice.

I just had the most positive, friendly, relaxing dental experience. Everyone in this office makes you feel welcome, like you are a part of their team. It was important to them that I was comfortable and pain free.

During my vacation in Loch Lyme Lodge this summer, I broke a tooth and needed dental work/advise. At the recommendation of the previous owners, the Barkers, I made an appointment with this office. Because of the professionalism, warmth and sincere concern for my well-being, a potentially frightening experience became very comfortable and knowledgeable! I can't say enough good things about this office and all the people who work here. I was almost sad that they were not my dentists back home (although I have a wonderful dentist at home). Dr.Neal was exceptional and adaptable to all my questions and concerns. Melanie Keegan
