Dr. Kareema Roushdy is a compassionate and friendly new addition to the Nay Dental team. She strives to treat her patients with top-tier dental care and assuring that they are comfortable in the dental chair. Her passion for dentistry stemmed from her love of art, and her willingness to help those in need. She aims to have a light, friendly atmosphere while addressing the patients main concerns.
Dr. Roushdy graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at Coney Island Hospital. She is a member of several organizations including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the second district Dental Society of New York
During her free time, she enjoys making art through oil painting and resin art. She also enjoys challenging her culinary skills by exploring various recipes from different cultures. Dr. Roushdy is also a strong advocate for a good work-life balance and cherishes the time she spends with her family and her dog Fresca.
As an undergrad at NYU, Esmeralda majored in sociology and minored in chemistry, focusing on disparities in health care. After graduating in 2015, she carried those interests with her to NYUs College of Dentistry. To relieve some of the pressures of the demanding four-year program, she plays squash at the gym and soccer with members of NYUs recent alumni network. When out-of-town friends come to visit, she takes them to Brooklyns Dumbo neighborhood, where she says she likes the perspective of seeing the two bridges, and what Manhattan looks like from the outside.
She dreams of someday practicing dentistry in a warmer climateCalifornia, maybebut at this point is trying to keep an open mind. Im open to going pretty much anywhere, Esmeralda says. Doesnt everyone always seem to find their way back to New York, though?
Melissa has been a Dental Hygienist since 2006 and got her Bachelors in Life Sciences and Biology at NYIT. She lives with her two kids and her Husband and loves to spend time with them during her free time.
Melissa always strives for perfection. Always wanting the best for the office and her patients she wants everyone to feel like family when they walk in the office. Shes been dedicated to Nay Dental for over 10 years, making sure everything works perfectly and looks neatly. Melissa is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Marjorie likes to spend time with her family. She also loves going to the movies and working out. She has been a dental assistant for 4 years and loves helping our patients with any questions or concerns they might have.
Sebastian is currently majoring in Biology at Stony Brook. He wants to become a cardiothoracic surgeon and save lives. He likes to dance and go out with his friends during his free time as well as watching Marvel and Disney movies. Sebastian is fluent in English and Spanish which is very helpful when helping our patients. His favorite food is sushi and he likes to go to the movies.
Sebastian is our front desk superstar. He is always willing to help with any questions you might have. He deals with our insurance claims and assists our doctors when needed. Always with a smile on his face, he always wants the best for our patients.
Stephania is currently majoring in communications at Nassau Community College. She strives to make the world a better place, and she is always willing to help you with any questions you have. She likes to travel, hang out with friends, sing, and create new recipes and art in her in her free time.
Stephania works behind the front desk and assists the doctors when needed. She is full of compassion and always wants to make our patients feel comfortable and taken care of. She is also very eager to learn and help out in any way she can. She will also happily help you in either English or Spanish with any concerns you may have.

Amazing experience! I got the forms beforehand so I didn't have to wait in the waiting area filling out forms. I was brought right into the room for my cleaning right away. Melissa was exceptional!!! She was gentle yet thorough while cleaning my teeth. I have to get some cavities filled, and she sat with me explaining every single thing so that I understood! I didn't feel overwhelmed because she explained everything step by step. She also included some tips on taking care of my teeth since I have Invisalign! She was AMAZING!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Melissa is a great hygienist. I just got my cleaning done and she did an excellent job!! At Nay Dental everyone is so professional and they make you feel comfortable. Dr. Nay is very detailed oriented, she has done fillings for me that last 15+ years. I've gone to this office since I was little and my mom used to take me there. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended!!

Sebastian and Stephanie at the front desk were so welcoming! Sebastian made the check in progress quick & easy! I saw the doctor a few minutes after being checked. Dr. Kareema talked me through the entire appointment! The entire team made me feel safe and comfortable! Will go to them all the time

I was very nervous I have had such bad experiences in dentistry. I can't tell you from the time I walked in the door to the time I left it was a wonderful experience. The hygienist was so compassionate and made me feel better she talked me through the process of my cleaning and the doctor came in to see me and she helped me with my anxiety and made me feel so comfortable. I have never felt this way in a dental office everyone was so pleasant, attentive to my anxiety, and was very thorough and professional. So glad I came having my whole family come from now on. I have finally found a dentist that's compassionate and understands my needs. Thank you to you all!!
