Dr. Werner was born at Pullman Memorial Hospital to local teacher Vivian Werner and county employee Mike Werner. Like his mother, who taught special needs and first grade, and his father who had involvement in the care and development of Whitman and Latah County, with such projects as the Bill Chipman trail, Dr. Werner is excited to be a part of thecommunity he grew up in.
Raisedon the Palouse, Dr. Werner was active as a child in Boy Scouts, sports, academia and the outdoors. In middle school and high school Dr. Werner was also highly involved with Future Problem Solvers of America. Acheivingregional awards, his team won at the StateFinals and was honored to competeat the International Conference.Dr. Werner attended WSU for his undergraduate education where he received the senior student award in Zoology and was the top candidate for medical and dental school. Since fifth grade, dentistry was alwaysDr. Werners passion, and thenext step was the University of Washington School of Dentistry. At the University of Washington, Dr. Werner graduated in the top ten students in his class, received the Senior Student award for the graduate that displayed the most promise in general dentistry, and was the only student to graduate in all three honors courses offered at the time: implants, endodontics, and removable prosthodontics.
After dental school Dr. Werner was selected by a member of faculty to practice under her tutelage for three years. Dr. Werner then established his own practice in Cle Elum, WA and cultivated it for nearly six years.A wonderful wife, Jill, and two beautiful daughters brought Dr. Werner full circle back to the wonderful community in which he was raised.
Jill was born in Gig Harbor, WA and graduated from the University of Washington with an English Degree. Following college, she worked for two years at an Endodontic office where she realized her interest in oral health and pursued a dental hygiene license. She graduated from Shoreline Community College. Her passion lies in whole-body health and preventive care. You can find her running, reading, fly-fishing and camping with friends and family when she is not at the office.
Travis wasraised in Potlatch, ID. He graduated dental hygiene school at LCSC in Lewiston, ID. His favorite part of dentistry is meeting new people and encouraging them to keep up with home care and floss! When he is notat Natures WayDentistry he enjoys fishing, camping,snowshoeing, and spending time with his lovable Husky, Glacier.

I've jumped around from dentistry to dentistry, and Natures Way is the best hands down. The very caring and patient staff makes going to the dentist that much easier. I've been at Natures way for a few years now, and I'm still very pleased with their service

Still say, the absolute best dentist on The Palouse! My 6 year old daughter had her first cavity filled today. Not only did Dr. Werner make her feel comfortable the entire time, when she left said "It just felt a little weird. It didn't hurt!" Thank you for making her experience one that she is willing to go back for dental care. We highly recommend Dr. Werner and his staff!

Dr.Werner was amazing! He was so gentle when numbing me and put patient comfort first. He did incredible work and was so kind when I had questions. He had procedures in place so that the whole time I was in the chair, I wouldn't be experiencing increased discomfort. I think as a dentist, that takes some real extra skill. I would recommend this dentist to any one! Especially families and those with dentist apprehension. The whole process of getting dental work accomplished was made easier by the state of the art equipment that made holding my mouth open for an extended period of time so much easier and more comfortable. His whole team was professional, knowledgeable and got me out of pain quickly. So glad he's my dentist

I hate dentists visits about the same as everyone else. The thing that i hate the most about dentist visits are the needles. I needed to have some fillings done, and had the appointment scheduled, and while waiting for the feeling of the needle, never felt a thing. This dentist by far the best office I have ever visited.

I enjoyed my dental experience with Nature's Way. I liked the calm atmosphere and very friendly service. I appreciated the practice's holistic approach to my teeth and general health. The staff really seem to care for me and my future, and the hand massage during my cleaning was a GREAT distraction. I would give them 5 stars but really who "Loves" going to the Dentist.

I have been to many dentists in my lifetime and would rank Dr. Werner as THE BEST I have ever seen. It is obvious that he cares about his patients a great deal. I had several crowns redone this year and appreciated the new technologies he uses to make patients as comfortable as possible during the procedure, as well as his care/patience to ensure that they fit "just right". In the age of Covid-19, I also appreciate the extra caution he takes by having a high-quality air filtration system in his office. His entire staff is very competent, warm and professional. I definitely highly recommend this practice!

I have a lot of issues and dentist-related trauma, and this is the first time I've been to a dentists office and I didn't feel judged. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxing, and Dr Werner and his staff were very reassuring.

Quite honestly the best dental cleaning and overall dental experience of my life. The whole staff was so accommodating and gracious with me and my daughter. Everyone was thorough, kind, full of information and made us feel right at home. Plus, everyone's hygiene practices were top-notch. I've found the perfect dentist's office.

Nature's Way Dentistry is the best dentist I have ever been to. They provide wonderful, holistic care and service with highly educated professionals who genuinely care about your well-being. From Stacy at the front desk to the dentist and the rest of team, I have had nothing but positive interactions. They also take Covid very seriously so you can feel safe while in the office. I would recommend this dentist to anyone who is looking for high quality care.

This is the BEST Dentistry I have ever had in my 65+ years! From the 1st phone call to the office to many office appointments, the service has been awesome! 5 Star is NOT enough for them as I would give them a much higher rating! I get Royal treatment every time - over the phone and in person. They not only care about my teeth but my whole body health! Thank you Dr. Werner for such kind, gentle, professional care!
