Dr. Yu Ting Wang was born and raised in Taiwan and Myanmar. She graduated from The University of Buffalo Dental School in New York. Her extensive experience and pursuit of continuing education, allow her to stay up to date with the latest treatment and advances in Orthopedic/Orthodontics, Craniosacral Therapy, TMJ therapy, and more
Dr. Chen was born and raised in Chengdu, China. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She also had 2-year advanced training in Orthodontics. Her knowledge and experience in general dentistry, together with her background in orthodontics, help her gain a comprehensive understanding of oral health
She enjoys building long-lasting relationships with patients. She always takes families' individual values into consideration and help them make informed decisions with any treatment. She is committed to continuing education and lifelong learning. She joined Academy of General Dentistry and is on her journey to pursue fellowship and mastership.
Faith was born and raised here in DFW. She completed her dental assistant training in 2013 and continues to expand her dental knowledge and experience actively since then. She was the first employee at this practice, and she is very excited to have been on this journey with Dr. Wang and her amazing patients. She will be happy to answer any questions you have! Outside of her dental home, she greatly enjoys reading, watching movies, hiking, walking her mini aussie, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. It isimportant to Sharese that she establishes a connection with each and every single patient sothat everyone feels at ease. Sharese has experience in providing complete preventive and periodontal therapy to patients of a variety of ages and periodontal classifications, including pediatric, medically compromised and special needs patients.Sharese moved to Texas in the fall of 2018. When shes not working, she travels back to her
small hometown in Southwest Arkansas. Sharese enjoys spending time with her family and herfriends, traveling, shopping, watching the New Orleans Saints, being outdoors, fishing, andriding four wheelers.
Haley comes to Molar Bear Dental as an experience administrative assistant. She believes in continuing education and is a registered dental assistant. She is inspired daily by her 3-year-old son, Jalen, and their American Bully, Cleopatra. In her free time, Haley enjoys playing sand volleyball, going to her sons soccer games, spending time with family, and furthering her education in dentistry.
Summer became a registered dental assistant in 2018, inspired by her own dental treatment journey. She loves helping inspire and educate patients to make sure they are making the right decison for themselves and their dental health while also building lasting patient relationships.
Ashley has worked in the dental field since she was 16 years old! She continued to work as a dental assistant and front office staff member as she attended Dental Hygiene school. Ashley completed her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene, graduating 2nd in her class from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2006. She has been in private practice ever since. One of her favorite things about her career is building lifelong relationships with her patients. She is able to help them in all areas of nutrition and oral health.
In 2020, she decided to expand her knowledge and started training as a Myofunctional Therapist. Ashley has always had a passion for addressing root causes of all health concerns and specializing in myofunctional therapy helps patients that struggle with tongue tie restrictions, sleep disturbances, TMJ discomfort and plenty more.
When she is not providing care to patients, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 daughters, usually at games or practices! In her spare time, she owns and operates an organic mobile coffee company based in Celina, Texas with her sisters.
Tonya was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M Caruth School of Dental Hygiene in 2013 receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She also attended Collin College receiving her Associates degree in business. Tonya enjoys working with both children and adults providing individualized treatment for everyone. She admires delivering a beautiful smile to each and every of her patients through detail-oriented and thorough hygiene treatment as well as providing individualized oral hygiene recommendations. Learning is her passion and she is currently seeking to obtain her myofunctional therapy certification.
On her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two boys and husband. Traveling, bible study, accounting, playing board games, jogging, and completing carpentry and DIY projects are some of the main activities youll see her at her best when shes not at work.
Josie is originally from Minnesota and came to Texas 8 years ago. She is currently at Collin College and will be attending the University of Northern Colorado in the fall to earn her Bachelors of Science in Biology for Pre-Health. She loves to workout, be outside and cook new meals!

Specifically called in to see if my son was a candidate for the ALF appliance. The lady setting the appointment said she needed to place me on hold to make sure he was old enough. She came back on the line and said he was and we scheduled the appointment. Then when I got there today I was told he was too young and they charged me $100 for the consultation.... just confused why this was even scheduled in the first place. Also on their own website it specifically says their is no age limit for the appliance....

Im changing my review because almost every time i was there, the dentist was always so RUSHED. I paid (out of pocket) for them to remove a retainer, and it was different than she expected. I asked if she could grind them down so it was smooth qnd she said she would come back as soon as my cleaning was done to do it better. Ok fine. Cleaning was done. And i asked for her to come back, and i was told i had to wait about another hour or so to get it done. WHAT?! I used to drive an hour to this place from richardson. I regret it. So im walking around with bumpy back teeth because she was rushing. The tech told me that water flossing is not good, meanwhile the dentist says to do it. Etc. So ive received conflicting information. I dont plan to go back. First time being at the dentist for a few years! Faith at the front desk was very friendly and different than any front desk attendant ive dealt with, she answered my millions of questions! The dr was great! She too answered all my questions. I loved that she didnt try to sell me anything and gave me cheaper alternatives to what i needed for my dental health. She suggested some possible things i could do, but was very honest in telling me they werent necessary, etc. Best cleaning ive had! The least painful ive experienced. I loved that they work with insurance, and are also a great holistic and natural choice! I wish the dental hygienist (i didnt catch her name) was more communicative on what was going on. I hadnt been to an appointment in years, so i had no idea what to expect other than a cleaning. She just shut the door, and started working. My husband was outside with our son, and he had no idea what was going on either. The last star was lost because my husband and i were disappointed in what we recieved for my son's care. I realized, for some reason, we hadnt added him to dental insurance after he was born (hes a little over 1) and i thought he should be checked too just in case. I was under the impression there would be more than an brief examination (i went to the bathroom quickly and by the time i came back the whole exam was finished). She did check everything from what i could tell and made him feel comfortable, and checked possibility of lip and tongue ties. I was just expecting there to be more for the $85, especially since we paid out of pocket for this.

This was my daughters first experience with a dentist and the staff made the experience excellent. Everyone was so patient and really nice. They explained everything in detail and answered every question I had. Thank you so much for the positive experience.

We switched to Molar Bear last year, and we love them. They see our whole family of six in the same schedule block. We really like their more holistic approach to health.

I'm so lucky I found Molar Bear! I was having trouble breast feeding my newborn and they were able to squeeze me in same day in order to take care of his tongue and lip tie. The staff are so nice, I couldnt ask for a better experience!

My 1 year old had his first visit to the dentist. The environment was comfortable and fun. My son seemed comfortable with the dentist and environment. Staff was friendly, my questions were answered, and helpful suggestions were given to help in his development. Overall it was great first visit.

I took my son here because he got one of his front teeth knocked loose. I checked in and within a few minutes he was being examined. The staff and the doctor were super friendly and made my son comfortable. I have been traumatized by a bad dentist and I cringe when I have to go to a dentist. The atmosphere in this please even set me at ease. From the receptionist to the assistant to the dentist everyone was professional and caring. Back to my son's front tooth, it was not damaged and they quickly assessed that it would be okay. My son usually freaks out even talking about going to the doctor but there was something comforting about the way the interacted with him that set him at ease. I highly recommend them and my wife is already setting up an appointment for her and for my kids to have their teeth cleaned. Here are my observations: The waiting area is cute and they have some toys and two tablets for your little ones while they wait. The facility is super clean and state of the art. We were in room number four and they had a TV on the wall and another one on the ceiling. The equipment was new and not dingy so you can tell they care about efficiency and quick assessment. My insurance is "The Standard" and it is a PPO and they took that. They gave my kid a little toy after our visit. Again I can't state enough how amazing the staff is at molar bear.

From the moment my wife discovered the practice, I knew I would love it. My experience there confirmed everything I was expecting. From the moment I walked in the door and they had to check my temp, they asked me if I preferred a forehead scan or wrist scan. That proved to me how considerate they were! That spoke volumes to me because I've never been asked that and it just shows they are different than most. They were very thorough with every step of the process. They explain what type of X-rays were needed, why they were needed, gathered very detailed dental history, explains each step of examination, cleaning, etc. very personable and could tell they actually cared about me as a person. They already had my attention which the holistic approach to dentistry. The extremely kind, warm welcoming staff made this an excellent experience for me and I will recommend to anyone!

Awesome friendly staff. Dr would listen to you and give you honest professional opinion. They helped us figure issues other dentists couldn't! And I can't write enough about how gentle, Friendly, considerate they were with our little boy! Definitely worth the drive from Wylie to Frisco . HIGHLY RECOMMEND .

Natural Focus Dental is amazing with a caring staff! From the front door all the way to the dentist, I was impressed. The team made sure I was notified and reminded of my appointment (just like the rest of you all; life tends to get busy now days). My Hygienist, Sharese, made sure to tell me everything that she was going to do before she did it. This made me SUPER comfortable. She also completed one of the best cleanings that I have had to date. Dr. Wang, oh where do I start! She was personable, charismatic, and attentive to all of my needs. At the time I had a new crown which made my bite stronger on one side. Their bite analyzing machine was being worked on at the moment but, they made sure to get back with me to when it was fixed. Now I have a normal bite again and I am extremely satisfied. Thank you Natural Focus Dental! I highly recommend.
