'Dr. Brian Wah is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist serving the greater Franklin area. He attended the University of Tennessee for dental school, and afterwards completed a General Practice residency in Bronx, New York. After his residency, he received his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Northwell Health/Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. Ask him where his favorite restaurants in New York!
Board Certification has always been a goal of Dr. Brian and he believes that Diplomat status is one of the highest honors in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. He desires to provide evidence based dentistry and individualized treatment plans for each child. He stays to date with the latest dental technology, uses computer-based charts and digital X-rays to make patient education easier. Dr. Brian understands how important it is for a child to be supported in their dental care, so he encourages parents to become engaged in their childs oral health and to ask questions when they arise.
Originally from the Memphis area, Dr. Brian met his wife Abhilasha 'Abby' in Nashville and they love to go and try new foods! They always challenge each other on who can cook the best meal. His wife usually wins, but he sneaks out a win every now and then. Bud, is usually the judge. He may have to go on a little diet after all the food tastings!
In his spare time, Dr. Brian enjoys playing basketball, table tennis, andswimming. Dr. Brian is an avid Razorbacks fan, and he will cheer on the Hogs whenever he gets a chance. He also enjoys playing with his Corgi, Bud.
Bud is kid-friendly and is the official office dog. He enjoys long walks on the beach, eating and belly rubs! We think he is more popular with the kids than Dr. Brian. He always takes his afternoon nap, but when he is not catching up on his beauty sleep, he would love to see your smiling faces!
Shajara has been a great addition to our team. Her energy is infectious and she always brings her A game! She is our official selfie taker, so when she's not taking care of the kids, she's somewhere taking another selfie. We have put a limit of 75 selfies per day!
Stephnie has been with us since 2020. She is in control of telling Dr. Brian where to go (He gets lost all the time). In her down time, she is getting us to perform all the latest Tik Toks and she is our official workout team member when she isn't hitting up Chicken-fil-a!
Bud is the longest tenured employee at Nashville Pediatric Dentistry. When he isn't napping, he anxiously awaits for the kiddos to come and rub his belly! He also loves to play fetch with his ball. So when he drops the ball at your feet, throw it!

Dr. Brian is just great with the kids! So down to earth and shoots straight and never tries to sell you on anything. So refreshing! And we can't forget about Bud! Bud is the best!

Dr. Brian did an incredible job with our 3 year old. We came in for a second opinion, and left feeling empowered by all of the information he shared with us. We are beyond pleased with the work he did for our son, and will absolutely be going back! It is evident how deeply he cares for the families he is helping! Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic!! We were in from out of town and they got us in on their day off an hour after we made the phone call to the office. They did amazing work and our child is feeling a ton better! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had a dental emergency and were leaving to go out of town the next day so needed it fixed ASAP. Our regular dentist couldn't get us in and referred us to Dr. Wah. He personally talked to my husband on the phone about the issue and was able to get us in that day. He was wonderful! He made sure my daughter was comfortable and was able to get the tooth fixed in about 35 minutes. I was impressed with him and his office and grateful that he was able to get us so quickly.

Dr. Wah was amazing! After a very traumatic experience at another dentist office that left my 6-year-old daughter with a half-pulled tooth and a bloody shirt and no direction with what to do next, Dr. Thomas Lokensgard's office referred me to Dr. Wah's office. The staff at Dr. Wah's office was compassionate and put me through to Dr. Wah directly. He invited us to come over right away even though it was late in the afternoon and almost closing time. I was so grateful he was willing to see us as we live 1 hour and 20 minutes away from most providers and I had no idea what the status of my daughter's tooth was. Upon arrival, Dr. Wah came to see us directly, got down on one knee and addressed my daughter directly. I was surprised that she responded so well to him after such a negative experience only an hour before. He asked her permission to finish pulling her tooth and she said yes. Not only did he pull her tooth, but he was entertaining and continued conversation with my daughter all throughout the process and even had her laughing many times. Once the tooth was pulled, she didn't even realize he was done. He handed me her pulled tooth and said he'd be right back to "finish up" even though he was done with the procedure. I showed her that I had her tooth and she said, "he's got magic!" When we left the office, my daughter was in a completely different mood. Dr. Wah is an amazing person and dentist. He did both a great job relating to both myself and my daughter and finished the job well. Big thanks to Dr. Wah for being willing to help redeem a very difficult situation.

This place is great! My kids love seeing Dr. Brian and the dog! My daughter asks to go with my son to his appointment so she can hang out with the dog! Who knew that kids would want to go to the dentist! Dr. Brian is kind and does his best to make it a great experience for me and my children! A++++

I can honestly say Dr. Wah is incredible, I do the best I can take care of my children's teeth but if something were to happen I would go to Dr. Wah hands down! He's reliable, loves what he does, response quickly to any questions or concerns that you may have! My children feel safe and they're happy when they see him! Dr. Wah also resolves the issues when we see him, him and his staff are amazing!

We found our forever dentist and probably the most friendly dog! Can't say enough good things! My kids love this office and Dr. Brian and his staff make it a fun and safe environment! I will definitely be coming back! He actually explained things I never knew about kids teeth and it all made sense! He doesn't push to get every cavity done and will explain in simple terms why certain teeth need to be fixed and what he would do if they were his kids.

I wish we would have found this place sooner! My daughter used to be terrified of going to the dentist. and she actually looks forward to going now. Dr Brian is the absolute best and I can not say enough wonderful things about him and his staff. He takes the time to get to know every patient and explains everything thoroughly.

Love! Love! Love! This is the office I have been looking for for years! My little daughter used to hate going to the dentist. Dr. Wah came out and talked with us first. I didn't even know doctors cared so much! He had my daughter laughing and begging to come back. She almost cried in the car because she had to go!

Parents...make...the...appointment...now!!! :-) NPD has responsive staff, a clean office, and of course GREAT DENTAL WORK for the kiddos! Dr. Brian is very patient with my kiddos and is honest in explaining treatment options. My kiddos have been coming for cleanings and treatments since we moved to Franklin a few years ago, and they look forward to coming...yes, to the dentist! PS: There's a really cool, special surprise behind the front desk...go see!

I cannot say enough about our experiences with Dr. Wah. Aside from the beautiful, child-friendly atmosphere and arcade games, which quickly eased the growing angst of my 8 year old son, Dr Wah's friendly, calm presence and assurance gave my son all the confidence he needed to bravely follow him back for the work he needed to have completed. Dr. Wah is incredibly respectful and honorable to family choices and decision making and offers a conservative approach in his treatment planning. His explanations are simple but thorough, ensuring we have considered all presenting factors. He ensured treatment was as minimally invasive and painless as possible, evidenced by the fact that my son was back to eating, talking, and playing within an hour, with no complaints or fear of returning for cleanings. My highest recommendation for Dr. Wah and the staff at Nashville Pediatric Dentistry.

I love this dentist!!! The receptionist is so friendly! The dentist is so friendly! All the staff are so friendly! They are so good with impatient children. They have a dog and two retro video game machines. The office is colorful and bright! Best dentist ever! Seriously!

Incredible. To say that Dr. Brian Wah went above and beyond to take care of my son would be an understatement. Dr. Wah is an outside the box thinker, who goes the extra mile (and then some) and is amazing with kids. He took a tough situation, and a fearful child, and worked magic. I cannot recommend him enough.
