Outside of a being able to provide outstanding comprehensive general, implant, and prosthodontic treatment, our in-house dental lab sets us apart from every other practice in Nashville. The dental lab is where we custom make everything we deliver to our patients, from dentures to crowns to custom implant prostheses. While some practices have some limited lab capacity, i.e. the ability to make dentures or same-day crowns, our practice has a full-service dedicated lab with three full time technicians, in addition to Dr. Cottrill and Dr. LuBovich, who understand all facets of dental lab work and design. Whether its a single veneer or a full mouth reconstruction, its right up our alley. Collectively, we have over 100 years of laboratory experience that ranges from classic to cutting edge techniques.
A practice like this is truly a labor of love. The lab requires not only a significant amount of additional expertise and experience beyond clinical dentistry, but an extraordinary amount of time! All the work from the lab is personally examined and guided by the doctor throughout the production process to ensure it meets the highest standard; Dr. Cottrill may very well be the one making your crown. Most importantly, the doctors expert understanding of the lab processes ultimately translates to a much deeper understanding and appreciation of clinical dentistry.

My initial crown work was brilliant, went here for a second replacement. Poorly done had it replaced a year later. Staff and dentist are perfunctory, not particularly personable or caring. It's a hard pass for me. I now fly back to my original dentist

I am afraid of the dentist and have been avoiding going to have someone look at a tooth that was bothering me bc the prospect was terrifying. Dental visits are inevitably painful and expensive. I was pretty sure I had a cracked tooth that would need many procedures. Finally, I went to see Dr. Cottrill. He did a thorough examination, X-rays, CBCT scan, and we talked in depth about the state of my teeth. It turns out I do not have a cracked tooth. It is fine. I was expecting Dr Cottrill to tell me I should get a crown anyway, just in case. I was pleased to discover, he is conservative in treatment plans. I highly recommend this dental office. My whole family are now patients. In fact, I am flying my mother in from FL to get an exam and get all of her dental treatment completed by Dr. Cottrill. He is an honest man, and a good dentist.

I went to NCID to repair a veneer that had fallen off one of my front teeth. I started the process at Aspen Dental in Nashville, who recommended undergoing surgery to rip the entire tooth + root out and replacing it with a titanium implant + crown for thousands of dollars. I saw Dr. Cottrill for a 2nd opinion and he assured me my tooth was healthy and the year-long dental implant process was unnecessary. When my veneer originally fell off, I was given a temporary at Aspen that was rough, yellow, and irritating to my gums. Dr. Cottrill replaced it with a temporary that is so perfect it looks exactly like my natural teeth...and it's not even the actual crown yet! The process was painless, every step was explained to me, and I saved $600 from the price I was quoted for a crown elsewhere. I am so glad I went to NCID and cannot wait to return in a few weeks for the final crown.

If you are reading this, let me tell how amazing Dr Cottrill and his staff are. I have had extensive dental work with several implants done. Dental work causes me incredible anxiety since I was a child. Dr Cottrill is a master at difficult cases. His knowledge and the layman terms he explains your personal case makes you feel at ease and comfortable. When you are sedated, you feel very vulnerable. Both Dr. Cottrill and his staff made me at ease, comfortable and had nothing but my care at heart. Stephanie and Rachel took such incredible care of me throughout the entire procedure. They let me know what was going on the entire time. When the procedure was done, still very sedated, I remember feeling very special, like I was the only case they had and felt like they treated me as if I was one of their familly members I can't say enough good things about this office. Dr Cottrills' work looks amazing and the staff are very caring. If you are needing dental care of any kind, you will be glad you chose Nashville Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. They are the best. Wish there were more than 5 stars I could give for the work and care I received. Go ahead, schedule your appointment. You will not be disappointed, promise!

What a great place!! Dr. Cottrill and his staff really took great care of me. I will recommend them to my friends and family for sure!! The fact that they aren't in network with either of my insurances doesn't have any effect on the payment their office will receive as most insurance has out of network benefits available. I never would have known that but the knowledgeable staff informed me about my benefits in terms I could easily understand. These people really care about their patients and it shows! I started out with a bad experience I let a dentist clean my teeth, I told them I'm going to get some crowns and they said I can do that they convince me into letting them experiment on making me the crowns I wanted, something they didn't specialize in, crowns were ugly, could not make the crown teeth like I told them I wanted and I was upset and got my money back. I had a talk with Jesus about it, got on the website searching for a Dentist that Specializes in making Cosmetic Crowns, with a in-house lab to make teeth that was what I needed. I knew of one but wasn't sure. I searched and found Nashville Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry ("Dr. Cottrill"). I was sure I found 'the one' that could design the crowns just the way I wanted cause he had a in-house lab to make teeth. Dr. Cottrill patiently listened to my requests, then he explain and showed me in details and we were on the same page. Only a few Dentists in Nashville that really specialize in making cosmetic dental crowns like I wanted and Dr. Cottrill is one of them and in my book the best. All my crowns are individual teeth, I wanted to change my bite a little bit and size of my teeth I wanted to see my bottom teeth and have that Hollywood smile like the stars of Hollywood. I wanted a whole new mouth of crown teeth. I didn't need all that but I got one knew gold and wanted all my teeth to look alike. Some dentist said what I wanted couldn't be done, 'it was out of their lead'. But 'Dr.Cottrill' and his 'Dental Tech Mrs Linda' and I made it happen and it worked out perfectly, they are awesome, I didn't experience any pain. I have a whole full mouth of new beautiful bigger teeth that feel and look natural. The whole crew is professional, patient, friendly, kept me comfortable and aiming to please always. If you want Hollywood teeth like mine we have one of the best Cosmetic Dental Crown Specialist right here in Nashville. I'm please, happy and love my new teeth.
