Peach Tree Healthcare sites are Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facilities. Peach Tree Healthcare is a 501 (c)3 non-profit community-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering comprehensive medical, dental, mental health, and specialty healthcare services. Peach Tree Healthcare is a health center program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
Peach Tree Healthcare receives funding through HRSA to help provide services to uninsured and underinsured patients. For all eligible patients, a discounted fee will be charged per visit according to the private pay plan as determined by the income guidelines. The discounted fee will cover all FQHC in-scope services provided at Peach Tree Healthcare sites for which Peach Tree Healthcare administers billing and collections functions.
Peach Tree Healths origins are rooted in supporting rural counties to meet the comprehensive primary care needs of residents. In 1991, the Yuba County Clinic moved from the former Yuba County Hospital and was renamed Peach Tree Clinic. In an agreement with the County, Fremont Rideout Health Group took over management of Peach Tree Clinic in 1992. Fremont Rideout successfully obtained Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 501(c) 3 non-profit status for Peach Tree Clinic in 2001. Peach Tree Clinic (doing business as Peach Tree Health) has operated as an independent community health center now for 20 years.
Peach Tree Health provides comprehensive medical, dental, vision and behavioral healthcare services across the life span in the Northern California Counties of Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba. Peach Tree Health operates eight community health center sites and two mobile dental clinics, which serve over 27,000 patients through almost 90,000 visits. Peach Trees services target the uninsured and underserved families throughout the region.
Peach Tree Healths growth continues with the opening of a new site in North Sacramento including primary care, vision services and immediate care services open seven days a week. Additionally, Peach Tree Health will be opening a comprehensive Pediatric Center including several pediatricians and a Pediatric Dental Center in Yuba City in early 2017.

A graduate of the University California Santa Cruz, Mr. Stone has always been focused on transforming the healthcare delivery model to stay ahead of ever-increasing industry reform and change. He is an active participant in several local boards, service organizations and committees, and also serves on the Board of Directors for Capitol Health Network.
